IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
For Your Protection, Read Carefully
Warning: Risk of fire. Do not install insulation within 3 inches of fixture sides or wiring compartment, nor above fixture in such a manner as to entrap heat.
Electric current can cause painful shock or serious injury unless handled properly. For your safety, always remember the following:
Turn off the supply power.
Ground the fixture to avoid potential
electrical shocks.
Do not handle an energized fixture or energize any fixture with wet hands, when standing on a wet or damp surface, or in water
New Installation for EVO, EVO WW & EVO Shower Trim
1. Pull light engine assembly included with mounting frame through ceiling opening as shown in Figure 1.
2. Attach light engine assembly to top of reflector by aligning and engaging the three (3) trim retention notches (see Figure 2) on the reflector with the three (3) screws on the light engine (see Figure 3). Drive in the screws using a Philips head screwdriver.
3. Push reflector/light engine assembly into ceiling opening aligning the torsion springs with the trim retention brackets on the mounting frame (see Figure 4). Push until reflector flange is flush with the ceiling.
4. To remove the reflector: pull reflector downward squeezing the torsion springs until completely removed from mounting frame. Using a Philips head screwdriver, loosen the trim retention screws on the light engine, disengage the reflector by twisting to open position with the trim retention notches.
5. IP65 rating for ALED shower trim: Apply a bead of silicone around the perimeter of the trim in between ceiling and outer flange edge to achieve an ingress protection rating of 65.
6. For EVO-W trim installation, push reflector into ceiling opening making sure that wallwash component is properly oriented with respect to the wall to be illuminated.
7. For trim installation with emergency battery pack, prior to Step 1, pull test switch flex from battery pack through ceiling opening. Attach test switch to reflector bracket with provided nut as shown in Figure
5. When attaching light engine as described in Step 2., be sure to align the correct trim retention notch with
the flex conduit from the light engine (Figure 6). Also, be sure to rotate Yoke if needed so that the Torsion
Springs will align with the Torsion Spring Brackets in Housing.
