INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
4” & 6” Square Wallwash Housing
Upon receipt, thoroughly inspect for any freight damage which should be brought to the attention of the delivery carrier. Compare the catalog desc ription listed on the packing slip with the label on the carto n to ensure you have received the correct merchandise.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

WARNING: Risk of fire. Do not install insulation within 3 inches of fixture sides or wiring compartment, nor above the fixture in such a manner as to entrap heat.

IMPORTANT! HOUSING SHOULD BE ORIENTED AS INDICATED BY LABEL ON HOUSING. INSTALL JUNCTION BOX OPPOSITE WALL TO BE ILLUMINATED.
NEW INSTALLATION Lay-in panel T-bar ceiling:
1. Cut ceiling opening slightly larger than the outside opening of the mounting frame.
2. Position mounting frame through opening in ceiling. Release clamping latch arms and a djust channel bars to the correct spacing between T­bar (see Figure 1). Secure channel bars to T-bar by means of wire ties, screws or by bending ends onto T-bar (see Figure 2).
3. Once mounting frame has been secured in structure, adjust the mounting frame ve rtically to align the bottom edge to either flush or slightly above (1/8" max) the ceiling line (s ee Figure 3). Secure mounting frame into position by closing the clamping latch arm. The notch located in the draw-down flange of the housing can be used to assist with alignment of multiple fixtures (see Figure 4).
4. If additional security is requir ed, a No. 8 sheet metal screw, wire tie or wire (not supplied) may be used to tie the latch arm to the mounting frame (see Figure 1).

NEW INSTALLATION Non-accessible ceiling
1. Release clamping latch arms and adjust channel bars to the correct spacing between joists (see Figure 1).

2. Bend ends of channel bars 90° and adjustment at its lowest point on the mounting frame. Make sure bottom of the flange is flush with the bottom of the joists. Secure mounting frame into position by closing the clamping latc h arm. Channel bars will accommodate up to 24” O.C. joists. The notch located in the draw-down flange of the housing can be used to assist with alignment of multiple fixtures.
Non-Flexible Wiring Method
3. If non-flexible wiring methods are used, follow procedure for Flexible Wiring Method, then lower mounting frame equal to the thickness of the finished ceiling or slightly above (see Figure 3). The notch located in the draw down flange of the housing can be used to assist with alignment of multiple fixtures (see Figure 4).

FEED WIRE CONNECTION TO FIXTURE JUNCTION BOX (See Figure 5)
Junction box is approved for through wiring with eight No. 12 AWG conductors (4in/4out) rated for a minimum of 90°C.
1. Remove junction box cover by releasing spring clip and allowing cover to hinge open.
2. Select knockout, remove, and install appropriate connector.
3. Install feed wire in accordance with national and/or local electrical codes.
4. Complete wiring.
5. Reinstall junction box cover.

ACCESS TO DRIVER AND THERMAL PROTECTOR

WARNING! Let fixture cool to touch before proceeding. Touching while hot may cause injury!
1. Grip trim flange and pull down to remove from upper reflector. (See Figure 6)
2. Loosen (2) screws attach ing LED module to upper reflector and push through opening into plenum. (See Figure 7)
3. Loosen screw and disengage upper reflector from keyhole slot gripping top of upper reflector and pull down allowing access to junction box. (See Figure 8)
4. Reinstall upper reflector and reattach module making sure LED module opposite of junction box. (See Figure 7)
5. Reinstall trim.

2. Loosen (2) screws attaching LED module to upper reflect or an d push through opening into plenum. (See Figure 7)
3. Loosen screw and disengage upper reflector from keyhole slot gripping top of upper reflector and pull down allowing access to LED module. (See Figure 8)
4. Pull LED module through aperture.
5. Remove splice box from LED module with ¼” nut driver.
6. Unplug connections between LED module and driver.
7. Install LED module making plug connections and reinstall splice box.
8. Reinstall upper reflector and reattach module making sure LED module opposite of junction box. (Se e Figure 7)
9. Reinstall trim.

HOUSING POST INSTALLATION ADJUSTMENT
1. Grip trim flange and pull down to remove from upper reflector. (See Figure 6)
2. Loosen (2) screws attaching LED module to upper reflector andpush through opening into plenum. (See Figure 7)
3. Loosen screw and disengage upper reflector from keyhole slot gripping top of upper reflector and pull down. (See Figure 8)
4. To adjust housing for trim alignment, reach through aperture and loosen (2) speed nuts. Adjust housing as required and retighten speed nuts. (See Figure 9)
5. Reinstall upper reflector and reattach module making sure LEDmodule opposite of junction box. (See Figure 7)
6. Reinstall trim.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Apply window cleaner to soft non-abra sive cloth to clean luminaire. CAUTION: Do not spray cleaner directly into Luminaire. If you have questions regarding maintenance or replacement parts, please contact Gotham Post Sales at 1-800-315-4982.
