INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
4” & 8” ALED/ALEDW & ALED
Shower Trim
Upon receipt, thoroughly inspect for any freight damage which should be brought to the attention of the delivery carrier. Compare the catalog description listed on the packing slip with the label on the carton to ensure you have received the correct merchandise.

New Installation for 4” & 8” ALED/ALEDW & ALED Shower Trim
Yoke assembly for ALED/ALEDW 4” provided with mounting frame (see CJ5201006 instruction
sheet). Yokeassembly for ALED/ALEDW 8” provided with trim.
1. Pull light engine assembly included withmounting frame through ceiling opening as shown in Figure 1.
2. Remove bow spring from yoke assembly by pulling the ends of the spring through the slots in the yoke as shown in Figure 2.
3. With the curve of the bow spring facing downward, attach it to the bracket by inserting screw located in the bracket into the keyhole slot in the spring. Engage screw in slot and tighten securely as shown in Figure 3.
4. Reinsert ends of bow spring into upper slots inyoke as shown in Figure 2.
5. Insert yoke assembly through ceiling opening as shown in Figure 4 and attach to mounting frame by inserting feet into tabs as shown in Figure 5. Feet will snap into place.
6. Pull light engine assembly through ceiling opening.
7. Attach light engine assembly to top of reflector by aligning and engaging spring clips on reflector with tabs on heat sink.
8. Push reflector into ceiling opening making sure that wallwash component is properly oriented with respect to the wall to be illuminated as shown in Figure 6.
9. IP65 rating for ALED shower trim: Apply a bead of silicone around the perimeter of the trim in between ceiling and outer flange edge to achieve an ingress protection rating of 65.
