Safety, Warranty & Regulatory Guide for H2A
This booklet provides important safety, regulatory, and warranty information that you should read before using your H2A. You can find an online version of this document at g.co/hub/manual.

Basic Safety

To avoid damaging your device, accessories or any connected devices, and to reduce the risk of personal injury, discomfort, property damage or other potential hazards, follow the precautions below and those found in the H2A Safety, Warranty & Regulatory Manual at g.co/hub/legal.
Handle your H2A with care. You may damage the device if you disassemble, drop, bend, burn, crush or puncture your device. Do not use your device if the screen is cracked or broken. Don’t expose your H2A to liquids, which can cause a short circuit and overheating. If it gets wet, do not attempt to dry it using an external heat source. Do not use your H2A in the bathroom. Do not expose your H2A to direct sunlight.
Be sure the power adapter and device are well ventilated when in use. Using damaged cables or power adapters, or using your device when moisture is present, can cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the H2A or other property. Make sure the power adapter is plugged into a socket near the device and is easily accessible. This product is intended for use with a certified Limited Power Source (LPS) rated 24 Volts DC, maximum 1.5 Amp. Only power your H2A with the included power adapter and cable or compatible accessories. Failure to use compatible accessories can cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the device and the accessories. Compatible accessories are available on the Google Store and at Google authorized resellers (look for Google’s “made for” badge).
Maintain a distance of 20 cm (8 inches) from your body to be consistent with how the device is tested for compliance with RF exposure requirements.
Contact customer service and do not use your H2A if it isn’t working properly or has been damaged.
Proper Handling and Usage
Follow these guidelines when storing or cleaning of your H2A:
Storage temperature. H2A and its adapter are designed to work best in ambient temperatures between 32° to 95° F (0° to 35° C), and should be stored between ambient temperatures of -4° and 140° F (-20° and 60° C). Do not expose the H2A to temperatures above 140° F (60° C) as this may damage the product or pose a risk of fire.
Care and cleaning. Unplug the device and adapter before cleaning, during lightning storms, or when unused for extended periods of time. Use a clean, soft, and dry cloth to clean the device and power

adapter. Do not use any chemical detergent, powder, or other chemical agents (such as alcohol or benzene) to clean H2A.

EMC Compliance
Important: This device and power adapter have demonstrated Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) compliance under conditions that included the use of compliant peripheral devices and shielded cables between system components. It is important that you use compliant peripheral devices and shielded cables between system components to reduce the possibility of causing interference to radios, televisions, and other electronic devices.
Changes or modifications to this product not authorized by Google could void the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and wireless compliance and negate your authority to operate the product.
FCC and IC/ISED Regulatory Compliance
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) license-exempt RSS standard(s) rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
