Chapter 1 Introduction

The congr ess ter minal is ea sy to ope ra te: pre ss the spea king ke y to speak an d rotate th e volum e knob in two directi ons (“+ ” and “-”) to a djust the v olume o f the built -in lou ds peake r; system m ainte nance doe s not need mu ch skill as we ll: tec hn ician s can opera te the te rminal af ter a sho rt period o f trainin g.

2.1 Overv iew
The DC S co ngress server GON SIN30 000 is the cor e of a co ngres s syst em. It can be conn ected to WAP- 30 or WAP -30I ( for incr easin g the n umber of liste ning u nits a nd simul taneo us inter preta tion uni ts) as well a s HD ma trix, mixer, power amp lifier, and PC over corr es pondi ng in terfa ce. The serve r acts as a brid ge to co nnect system hardwar e a nd control so ftware. It ca n wor k i ndepend ently or be conn ected with a PC to allow op erator to use the confere nce man ag ement s oftware f or mana gement an d contr ol .
