The Golight® Gobee™ is a portable searchlight
designed to be temporarily attached to a vehicle
with a magnetic base. The Gobee™ is controlled
by a wireless remote which gives the operator a full
360 degree horizontal rotation and a 90 degree
vertical tilt with fingertip control. The Gobee™
utilizes an H-3, 55 watt bulb with a parabolic
reflector to provide a solid beam of light at night.
The Gobee™ Includes:
Gobee™ Searchlight
Built in magnetic base with six magnets
(additional magnets are available)
Wireless radio control with battery
15 ‘ power cord
Black carrying case for storage and transport
Mounting Instructions:
1. Clean a metal mounting surface with a cloth.
2. Place the magnetic base of the Gobee™ in the
desired location (metal surface)
3. Plug the light into a 12 V outlet or cigarette
lighter and GOLIGHT® the World!
Removal Instructions:
1. Unplug your Gobee™
2. Remove by pulling up on the bottom side tabs.
PROGRAMMABLE REMOTE
INSTRUCTIONS:
The Golight® Gobee™ is controlled with a
programmable remote capable of operation on 16
selectable channels. This feature allows you the
freedom to change the channel selection to avoid
outside interference. The receiver relearns the new
channel selection in a few easy steps.
PROGRAMMING THE TRANSMITTER
This light has been pre-programmed at the factory
and it is not necessary to re-program the transmitter
unless you experience outside interference.
1. *IMPORTANT * Disconnect power to unit.
2. Remove battery cover from remote control
3. Set the four dip switches to the selection of
your choice. There are two positions on each:
use a small screwdriver and select a position for
each dip switch.
4. Replace battery cover.
5. Depress the on/off button and hold it down.
6. While holding the on/off button down, reinstall
the power to the unit (plug the cigarette lighter
in)
7. Keep your finger on the on/off button for five
to six seconds, and then release. The light is
now reprogrammed and ready for use.
OPERATION OF GOLIGHT® GOBEE™
When on and rotating the unit draws five
amps. A five to six amp fuse is recommended.
1. Place your Gobee™ on the outside of your
vehicle.
2. Plug your Gobee™ into your vehicles cigarette
lighter outlet or 12 volt direct battery hookup.
3. Using the remote control, turn on the light by
depressing the on/off button.
4. With the four way arrows on the remote
control, rotate your light to the desired
location. The wireless remote has a range of
about 25 feet.
*Unplug the Gobee™ when not in use* and store
in the enclosed carrying case.
Bulb replacement:
1. Unplug the Gobee™
2. Remove the two bezel screws on the bottomfront of the lamp housing.
3. Remove the bezel by tilting it upward.
4. Remove the black protective wire cover from
the rear of the reflector
5. Loosen both screws on the back side of the
reflector which connect the wires. *note the
wire connection points*
6. The bulb will now slip out of the housing
7. Replace bulb and reassemble your Gobee™.
The Golight® Gobee™ utilizes a H-3, 55 watt bulb,
which may be purchased through Golight®
Inc. Extra magnets are also available.

For safe and efficient operation of your Golight® Gobee™,
observe these guidelines:
Using your Gobee™ in icing conditions could damage the gear
motors.
Your Golight® Gobee™ is a radio transmitter and receiver oper-
ating at 433 MHZ. Whenever the light is on the internally
mounted antenna sends out and receives radio frequency (RF)
energy.
Modern electronic equipment, i.e. Personal medical
devices such as pacemakers, hearing aids, etc. are shielded from
RF energy. However, RF energy may effect some electronic
equipment.
Vehicle electronic systems may be effected by RF
energy. Check with your vehicle manufacturer reprehensive to
be sure that your Gobee™ will not effect the electronic system of
your vehicle
* Notice : The changes or modifications not expressly approved
by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s
authority to operate the equipment.
* IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with the FCC RF exposure
compliance requirements, no change to the antenna or the device
is permitted. Any change to the antenna or the device could result
in the device exceeding the RF exposure requirements and void
user’s authority to operate the device.
ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Golight, Inc. warrants the Gobee™ against any
deemed defects that are due to workmanship for
parts or faulty material, except lamps, for one year
from the date of the original purchase. This
warranty to the Gobee™ does not cover damage
resulting from unreasonable use or misuse,
unreasonable maintenance or loss, or labor costs.
Mounting the light upside down will void the
warranty.
Warranty cards must be filled out and sent in within
30 days of purchase to Golight, Inc. - 37146 Old

If the Golight® Gobee™ does fail to operate under
warranted specifications, send the light and remote
control postage paid, plus $9.95 for shipping and

Any consequential damages to person or property
are excluded from this warranty. Some states do
not allow exclusion and limitation of incidental or
