Remove all packaging from the boat.
Take care not to damage gelcoat or
other materials.
Connect baery to
main lead.
Launch your Goldfish use liing points if using
crane. Make sure there
are no leaks.
Your new boat is ready to start.
Turn the key, and test your new
Goldfish for the first time. Enjoy!

A centrally placed steering position, large screens for
navigation and instruments, excellent visibility and customized

HULL
Optimum angle of aack and low vertical pitching secures extreme sea keaping capabilities.
Minimum hydrodynamic drag optimizes hull efficiency, and saves 25-30% fuel compared to a
modern traditional v-boom hull. Balance, weight and design eliminates planing threshold, and
gives the 50 Ocean optimal functionality at all speeds.
HEAVY DUTY D-FENDER
Together with the sacrificial bow, your 50 Ocean is
protected during docking and disembarking. Less worries

1. ESSENTIALS
Welcome to the Goldfish family, and thank you for purchasing your new boat from us. Please read
through this owner’s manual and make sure you are acquainted with the neccessary information to
properly and safely operate your new Goldfish.
NOTE! High performance boats have a high power-to-weight ratio. If you are not experienced in the
operation of a high performance boat, do not aempt to operate one at, or near, its’ top speed until you
have gained that experience. Please make sure to always remember the following:
» Always use dead man’s system when driving the boat.
» Avoid sudden maneuvers without warning the passengers.
» Safe placing of passengers when driving at high speeds.
» Right use of trim, power and throle when executing an avoidance maneuver.
Goldfish Boat can arrange boat handling courses for all levels of experience upon request. Please
contact us for more information.
We would also like to introduce you to a couple of services that are exclusive to Goldfish customers:

The day you decided to build your boat with us, we opened your personal account to aend to your
boating. Here you will find specific information relevant to your boat for as long as you own it. Aer

As much as we make our hulls bulletproof, we know that even the most reliable cra with all its
subsystems is not fool proof. That is why Goldfish Aer Sales department is kept core-business and
a work in progress with R&D and Production. All to ensure customer satisfaction, resulting in a great
place to work.
Through our direct support program we learn to PREVENT incidents to happen in the first place. We
make sure that owners are capable to PROTECT their boat and crew. And, we hold systems to PERFORM
appropriate action when needed.

2. OPERATION
2.1 BEFORE STARTING ENGINE
To make sure you have a safe and comfortable trip on your Goldfish, please make sure of the following
before starting the engine:
» Remove covers.
» Securely fasten all cushions.
» Make sure there is no water in the boat.
» Check the general state of the boat.
» Stow all your luggage securely

2.2 ENGINE STARTING
NOTE! This quick reference is not a complete check list, but serves as an absolute minimum list
of procedures necessary to start the engine.
START PROCEDURE:
» Switch on the main current on the start baery switch, the switch will have a red light on if it is
turned on correctly.
» Make sure that the gear is put into neutral position.
» Aach lanyard to the dead-man switch.
» Tilt down the drive.
» Turn both start keys so the engine control panels turns on.
» Push the control buon on the throle so it stops flashing red.
» Start the port engine by turning and holding the port start key.
» Start the starboard engine by turning and holding the starboard start key.
IN CASE THE ENGINES DO NOT START:
» Make sure that all procedures have been followed.
» Check the throle position, make sure it is in neutral position.
» Make sure the power is turned on.
» Check the main fuse.
» The engine will not start if the drive is in gear.
STOPPING THE ENGINES:
» Put the gear into neutral position.
» Turn off the engine at the control panels.
» If the engine for some reason doesn’t stop; stop the engine by pulling the dead-man lanyard.
» If necessary trim up the drive.
» Switch off the main current.

2.3 DASHBOARD
The layout of the 50 Ocean’s dashboard is clean and easily accessed for maximum functionality:
1 - CHARTPLOTTERS
The Goldfish 50 Ocean is fied with twin Simrad
displays connected to a Simrad system. Please
refer to the specific instruction manual for
further information.
2 - INSTRUMENT PANEL (RIGHT)
The instrument panel is mounted between the
twin chartploer screens, and houses the main
circuit switches for various equipment (see
figure).
3 - ENGINE PANELS
The engine panels are fied either side of
the steering wheel, and shows RPMs, engine
temperatures, oil pressure etc. For further
information see manual.
