2.2 ENGINE STARTING
NOTE! This quick reference is not a complete check list, but serves as an absolute minimum list of procedures necessary to start the engine.
When the start panel is connected to power it will start to blink red. The starting procedure is as follows:
1 - Key in PIN code (4 digits, factory seing is 0000). When the code is accepted the red dot will light constantly and the start buon will light up. The panel shuts down aer 2 minutes without activity if neither ignition nor start is activated.
2 - Hold START buon down until the first engine starts. The START buon will first set ignition on and then start the engine 0.2 seconds later.
3 - Hold START byon until second engine starts (not applicable for single engine installation).
When the ignition is on or the engine is started the STOP buon lights up. Aer about 10 seconds the light in the panel and start buon turns off, and the light in the STOP buon will light with lower intensity.
STOPPING THE ENGINE:
Push the STOP buon. The panel will hold the stop signal actively for 10 seconds. In this period the red light will blink. Stopping can be interrupted during these 10 seconds by pushing the green start buon.
CHANGING THE PIN CODE:
The panel must be activated to change the PIN-code.
Push: #4#XXXX#YYYY#YYYY# where XXXX = old code and YYYY = new code
SAFETY PRECAUTION
Always perform daily pre-check and function test of the steering system before driving at high speed.
