FIXTURE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Install the light bulb in accordance with the
fixture's specifications.
2. Carefully clip the Fabric Shade ( K ) onto the
bulb.
(DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAG E R A TING!)

Fixture Name: Waverly 3500--1W AB
WARNING ! SHUT OFF POWER AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER.
1. Carefully remove the new fixture from the carton and the
yellow bag that holes all your parts. Check that all parts are
included as shown in the illustrations and the Parts List.
2. Shut off power at the circuit breaker and completely
remove the old fixture from wall, in cluding the old mounting
strap.
3. Mounting St r ap(A) contains several pairs of threaded
holes. Find the pair of holes that match the spacing of the
holes in Back Plate (K). Thread the Mounting Screw s(B) half
way into Mounting Strap(A).
4. Place Mounting Strap ( A) over the Junction B ox (E) so the
Mounting Screws (B) are vertical or horizontal, as required by
fixture type.
5. Attach Mounting Strap (A) to the Junction Box (E) by using

6. Attach the power supply wires to the fixture lead wires by
connecting BLACK to B LACK (or SMOOTH) and WHITE to
WHITE ( or RIBBED) .
7. Ground wire connection: Conn ect the fixture ground wire
to house ground wire, which usually has green or copper
insulation, with the correct size of wire co nne ctor. If there is
no house ground wire at ceiling junction box then attach
fixture ground wire securely onto green grounding screw
located on the mounting bar.
NOTE: Twist the wires tog eth er in th e s a me direction that you
twisted the wire connector onto the w ir es .
8. Tuck the wire connect ions ne atly into the Junction Box.
9. Place Back Plate (J), over Mounting Screws(B), so that the
screws protrude through the ho les in Back Plate (J).
10. Thread Deco Nuts (H) onto M ounting Screws (B) and
continue turning until the Back Plate (J) is snug against the
wall.
11. Carefully press the clips inside of the shade (K) o nto the
bulb.
YOUR INSTALLATION IS NOW COMPLETE. RETURN POWER
TO THE JUNCTION BOX AND TEST THE FI XTU R E .
