Read and review installation instruction sheet
before assembling the fixture
1. Measure to determine the
rods needed for proper hanging height. There
are 3 optional 12" rods and a 6” rod included.
2. To shorten the fixture, trim the wires to the
desired length and add at least 8~10 inches.
You must use at least the 6” rod.
3. To lengthen the fixture, add additional rods.
(ROD-12 CDB ) is available. To purchase
additional rods, please contact the retailer.
4. Pull the fixture’s wires through the rods.
5. Place Washer (G) between Rod (H) and
Frame (I). Thread Rod (H) into Frame (I) until
tight.
6. Place Washer (G) between each rod and
thread until tight.
7. Feed the fixture wires through Ca n opy (E)
and pull the wires until taut.

WARNING! SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER
1. Carefully remove the new fixture from the carton
as well as the yellow parts bag. Check that all
parts are included as sh o w n in t he illustrations and
the Parts and Assembly Sheet.
2. Shut off power at the circuit b reaker and
completely remove the old fixture from ceiling,
including the old mou n ting strap.
3. The Mounting Strap (B) contains several pairs of
threaded holes, find the pai r of ho les that ma tches
the holes spacing in yo ur fixture canopy (E).
Thread Fixture Mount ing Screws (A) half way into
the Fixture Mounting Strap (B).
4. Place the Mounting St rap (B) over the Junction
Box so that Mounting Screws (A) are vertical or
horizontal, as required by the fixture type.
5. Attach the Fixture Mounting Strap (B) to the
Junction Box using Mounting Screws (C). Tighten
the screws securely with a screw driver.
CONNECTING THE WIR E S(Fig.2)
6. Attach the power supply wires to the fixture lead
wires by connecting BLACK to BLACK (or SM OOTH)
and WHITE to WHITE (or RIBBED).
7. Ground Wire Connection: Connect the fixture
ground wire to the supply ground wire (this usually
has green insulat ion) w ith wire conn ector. If there is
no supply ground wire at ce iling junction box then
attach the fixture ground wire secure ly onto green
grounding screw located at mo unt in g bar.
NOTE: Twist the wires together in the same direction
you twisted the wire connector onto the wires.
8. Tuck these wire connections neatly into the
Junction Box.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION(Fig.3)
9. Place Canopy (E) over Mounting Screws (A) and
secure Canopy (E) against the wall by threading
Deco Nuts (F) over Mounting Screws (A) until tight
as shown on Fig.3.
10. Install the light bulb in accordance with the
fixture’s specifications.
YOUR INSTALLATION IS NOW COMPLETE. RETURN
POWER TO THE JUNCTION BOX AND TEST THE FIXTURE.
