FIXTURE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1)
1. By measuring determine correct number of rods and chain needed for proper hanging height. There are 2 ft of chain and 2 optional 12" rods included.
2. To shorten the fixture slide the excess 12" rods off the wire.
3. To lengthen the fixture thread the additional rods onto the wire or substitute longer chain for the 2 foot length included.
These two Rods may be removed or additional Rods may be added. ROD-1089 RSB* additional chain may be added. CHAIN-RSB * *available for purchase separately

4. Pull the fixture’s wire through the rods until taut.
5. Thread Rod (O) into Frame (M) until tight.
6. Thread additional Rods (O) together using Couplers (N) between rods until tight. Repeat for any additional rods.
7. Feed the fixture wires through Top Loop (J) and pull the wires until taut. Screw Top Loop (J) to the rod on the top of
8. Slip Canopy Loop Collar (H) over the chain, then do the same with the Canopy (G).
9. When ready to complete the installation, use the other chain connector and attach the other end of the chain to the Canopy Loop (F). Then, close the chain connector.
10. Make sure the weight of the chandelier will be supported by the chain-not the electrical wire.
* You may now install the fixture.
Note: Complete these remaining steps after the fixture is hung.
11. Slide Glass Shade (P) over the socket of Frame (M) and secure Glass Shade (P) by threading Socket Ring (Q) onto the socket of Frame (M) until tight.
12. Install the light bulb (not provided) in accordance with the fixture's specifications.

WARNING ! SHUT OFF POWER AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER.
1. Carefully remove the new fixture from the carton and the yellow bag that holds all your part s. Check that all parts are included as shown in the illustrations and the Parts and Assembly Sheet.
2. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove old f ixture from ceiling, including the old mount ing strap.
3. Thread Nipple (C) into Canopy Loop (F) until snug.
4. Thread other end of the Nipple (C) with Canopy Loop attached into Mounting Strap (D).
5. Place Lock Washer (B) over end of Nipple (C) protruding through Mount ing Strap (D) and thread Hex Nuts (A) onto Nipple until tight.

7. Unscrew Canopy Loop Collar (H) from t he C anopy loop. Take the canopy and pass over the Canopy loop. approximately one half of the canopy loop exterior threads s hould be exposed. Adjust until desired height is reached. *the Canopy loop collar should fit snugly on the Canopy loop after the canopy is installed. Remove Canopy and C anopy lock collar .
8. Assemble the fixture and have an assist ant or secure support hold the weight of the fixture while you complete the wiri ng connections.

Attach the GROUND w ire(GREEN or COPPER) from the Junct ion Box and the fixture Ground wir e to the green Ground Screw on the Mounting Bracket (D) or connect both wires together usi ng the correct s ize of wire connect ors. NOTE: Twist the w ires together in the same direction you twist the wire connector onto the wires.
12. Tuck these wi re connections neat ly into the Junction Box.

RETURN POWER TO THE JUNCTION BOX
