The D1 is a high quality dynamic
microphone with vint age styling
and m od er n ac o ust i c te ch­no logy. It´ s marked pr es ence
peak res ults in a forwar d and

well suited to vocal s a nd man y
instruments.

Th e D1 has a ca rd io id pol ar
pa ttern whi ch redu ce s fee d­back ef fectively. The ON / O FF
switch is v ery use ful for stage /
liv e sound applications an d it is
total ly noise fre e and can also
be securely locked in the ON
posit ion for unexp ected in ter­ruptions in the p erf orm ance.

sta nd adaptor matche s different

US I N G THE D1

Th e D1 ca n be used wit h any stan da rd mixe r or
preamp. Use either a XLR to XLR or XLR to 1 /4” plu g
low impedance cab le.

When mounting the D1 to the stand you may need
to remov e the th rea ded adapter from th e mic ho lde r,
depending on the thr ead ing of the mic st and.

Be aware of the proximity effect (a n i ncr eas e in bass
response) when the mic is clo se to th e so und sou rce .
Thi s ca n be a good or a bad thing . You can a dju st the
bass re sponse by changing the dista nce fro m th e mic
to the sound sour ce f or an optimum result in d ifferent
applications.

If the microp hon e is placed cl ose to a speaker d uri ng
live st age use, feedback may occ ur. Since th e D1 has
a cardioid pickup pattern, it wi ll mainly picku p sound
com ing from the front of the mi c. The ris k for feedback
is therefor great ly red uced.

PRECAUT IO N S

- Store and trans por t t he D1 in it´s pad ded ca se.

- Keep the D1 awa y from extremely high temperatures
(60 degrees) and h umidity. Do not leave i t in direct
sunlight.

- When using th e D 1 o utdoors, avoid ge tti ng it wet.

- A fter high-moisture appl ica tio ns such as stage per­formance, wi pe o ff the D1 w ith a dry clot h an d permit
it to air dry. Do no t store i t in a c losed s pac e like a
plastic bag until al l m oisture has evapo rat ed.
