Information
General information
GB
This Collector container is designed to suction grass surfaces when connected to a frontal sickle mower, the quantity of grass suctioned being limited to the performance of the mower. No materials other than grass and leaves should be suctioned.
The prescribed usage conditions for the sickle mower must be observed.
NOTE Important information
Please make sure that the Collector container is always operated and used with a suitable vehicle. Contact the manufacturer of your vehicle to determine if the vehicle is suitable for attaching a Collector container. When attaching and detaching the Collector container the securing and fastening points provided by the manufacturer are to be used.
The permissible axle loads and gross weights of the carrier vehicle must be observed. Changing the tyres or track width can affect driving behaviour and permissible loads; furthermore, it may be necessary to change the suction hose routing.

Operating and maintenance instructions
Warranty period
General information
These operating instructions contain important operating and maintenance instructions that enhance the trouble-free operation and useful lifetime of the Collector container. We recommend that you read these carefully and observe the maintenance intervals.
During the warranty period, the Collector container must be checked once monthly by the authorised workshop. The check must be documented by the delivery workshop (stamp, date, signature); failure to observe the maintenance intervals voids the warranty, as damage to the machine may occur.
In the event of faults on the machine, always look for a specialist workshop; do not try to perform repairs for which you lack the necessary experience and possibly the necessary tools.
After expiry of the warranty period, it is mandatory to have the Collector container checked once yearly by a specialist workshop. We only work with specialist workshops that have the required specialist knowledge. These workshops must also check the hydraulic cables and connectors once a year. The law requires that hoses are completely changed six years after manufacture.
GB
We cannot be held liable for the machine if modications are made to
the machine without the manufacturer's permission. We also cannot be held liable if original GMR spare parts are not used.
We reserve the right to make technical changes or improvements; all information, illustrations or dimensions are non-binding and no incidental claim can be compensated for this.

Operating instructions for operating the STENSBALLE Collector container SC
Operating instructions
We congratulate you for purchasing the "STENSBALLE SC Collector
container" and thank you for your condence in us.
The STENSBALLE Collector container is a high quality product built in our factory according to our quality guidelines.
However, we must remind you, the end user, that the container was designed to extract grass and leaves when connected to a sickle mower.
You will receive the nal operating instructions upon completion.
You have chosen a STENSBALLE Collector container. Since this machine is used exclusively for suctioning grass and leaves, you must pay attention to the following points:
The carrier vehicle must meet the appropriate condition and equipment for operating the Collector container.
GB
The Collector container may only be operated by specialist persons.
During the emptying procedure, no persons may remain within the hazardous area (at least 20 m safety distance).
Under no circumstances should the emptying procedure be carried out when the vehicle is parked at an angle.
The suction hose may only be removed when the vehicle and mower are switched off, and then only for cleaning.
Under no circumstances should you reach inside the suction turbine for the suction hose while the engine is running.

Operating instructions
Make sure that no more than one person is operating the machine (*switch off the engine); if the container is in a raised position; the
enclosed locking rod must be xed (crushing hazard).
Pay attention to the hose length; if a hose is too long this affects its suction power and it can get damaged!
The hydraulic system is subject to high pressure; this pressure is released during servicing or maintenance.
When cleaning and servicing, make sure that the machine is secured.
We cannot accept any liability if modications are made to the machine.

Attachment to the carrier vehicle
1. Reverse the vehicle up to the turbine side of the Collector container. Drive the vehicle slowly, into the middle, between the parking supports - if necessary, work with the instructor (instructor must not remain within the hazardous area of the machine) - and reverse the vehicle up to the coupling elements.
2. The tilt cylinder on the vehicle must be switched off before attachment.
3. Stop the engine and secure your vehicle from rolling away.
4. Slowly lower the Collector container into the coupling elements of the carrier vehicle with the aid of the parking supports; before removing the parking supports, check that the Collector container is inserted into the coupling elements provided and then fasten these elements.
5. Properly connect all intended hydraulic cables to the vehicle.
GB
Install and route the suction hose to the carrier vehicle, attach the pump suction nozzle to the mower and secure. The Collector container must not be operated without the suction hose being connected; before starting up the turbine, care must be taken that there are no foreign bodies inside the turbine, inside the suction hose or beneath the frontal mower, as these bodies can get sucked in.
1. Prior to commissioning, let the turbine run stationary and check the hydraulic components for leaks, then slowly take the turbine to full speed and check all hydraulic connections again.
2. To attach the mower pump suction nozzle, push the nozzle in front of the hinges, push through the hinge pin and secure with cotter pin or locking pin.

Basic adjustment
Basic adjustment of the Collector container
the speed of the carrier vehicle should be high enough for the Collector container to reach its optimum work rate of at least 40 l/min.
the engine speed must be kept constant, no changes in speed may be made.
please pay attention to the optimal positioning of the mower and suction hose - especially the routing of the latter (see operating instructions).
when emptying the container, please pay attention to the surroundings of the hazardous area, and always empty in the direction of the wind.
after use, carry out cleaning work, check hose for damage, foreign bodies (broken glass, cans, stones, etc.).

Accident hazard
Before commissioning
Before starting the cleaning, switch off all running and rotating parts and wait until all running and rotating parts have come to a standstill.
Always wear appropriate protective clothing when cleaning the suction container, such as gloves or moisture-protective clothing; foreign bodies may always be present inside the turbine or within the compressed grass in the blower, which can cause injuries.
Please look out for damaged parts, safety devices, fasteners, screws, safety devices and working tools (wind vane); these parts must be repaired or replaced before the Collector container is returned to operation.
After cleaning, repair or maintenance work, all safety devices, fastenings and protective devices must be brought back into good working order before the Collector container can be returned to service.
When reversing, an instructor is required - take care that this person is not within the hazardous area.
GB
Accident prevention
In the design and manufacture of the Collector container, special care has been taken to ensure the operator’s safety.
However, injury and accidents can only be avoided by trained and instructed persons insofar as these latter recognise the hazards and behave accordingly.
Sources of hazard include moving parts, such as the wind blades in the blower and the tailgate of the Collector container
A crush hazard exists when attaching or detaching the Collector container, when raising or lowering the container during the emptying procedure, as well as when opening and closing the tailgate.
GMR maskiner a/s Page 15
User manual

Please take note of the following instructions
Before commissioning
Do not wear loose clothing as this can catch on rotating parts.
Fasten attachments using the required devices; please never use wire or ropes.
Please make sure that the vehicle is never left unsupervised while the engine is still in operation. Never leave the driver's seat when driving slowly. Before leaving the vehicle, switch off all operating systems and ensure that no unauthorised persons have access to the machine.
Any repairs and maintenance must only be carried out with the engine switched off and the hydraulics lowered.
Never leave the Collector container inside enclosed spaces.
After maintenance and repair work, the safety devices must be completely re-installed; operation without safety devices is not permitted.
When attaching or detaching the Collector container, make sure that the carrier vehicle is secured against rolling away (handbrake). The Collector container should also be secured against rolling away and
unintentional tilting. Only set down the Collector container on rm
and horizontal ground.
When reversing, an instructor is required; please ensure that this person is not within the hazardous area of the machine.
Please keep in mind that the vehicle with a Collector container attached requires a different handling than a vehicle with no Collector container attached.
Always ensure that you are fully awake when handling this machine and expect the improbable.
