Nach der automatischen Installation der
Standard-Treiber ist die Tastatur nun
betriebsbereit.

Schließen Sie die Tastatur mit Hilfe

eines USB-PS/2 Adapters an den
PS/2- Anschluss Ihres PCs an.

(Adapter ist nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten)

Schalten Sie Ihren PC ein.

Die Tastatur ist nun betriebsbereit.

BLUETOOTH-FUNKTIONEN

Pairing/Verbindung zu anderen Bluetooth-Geräten herstellen

Es ist möglich bis zu drei verschiedene Bluetooth-Geräte mit der Tastatur zu verbinden. Die
Tastatur muss dazu immer mit einem USB-Anschluss für die Stromversorgung verbunden sein.

Drücken Sie die Tasten Fn + die gewünschte Bluetooth-Taste ( F2 … F4 ) und halten diese
länger als 2 Sekunden gedrückt bis die entsprechende LED (LED2… LED4) auf der Tastatur
schnell blinkt. Die Tastatur befindet sich nun im Pairing-Modus und ist für andere Bluetooth­Geräte sichtbar.

Führen Sie nun mit dem zu koppelnden Gerät die Suche nach verfügbaren Bluetooth­Geräten aus. Die Tastatur wird mit Modell Namen und den letzten 6 Stellen der Seriennummer
angezeigt, z.B. UNIQEY Q100 #123456. (Die Seriennummer finden Sie auf dem rückseitig
angebrachten Produktlabel)

Folgen Sie nun zum Pairing den Anweisungen Ihres Systems. Evtl. werden Sie, abhängig
von Ihrem System, aufgefordert einen Code auf der Tastatur einzugeben. Nach erfolgreichem
Pairing hört die entsprechende LED auf zu blinken und die rechte Status LED4 leuchtet dauer­haft. Die Bluetooth-Verbindung ist nun betriebsbereit. Die Pairing-Einstellung bleibt in der
Tastatur gespeichert.

Ein laufendes Pairing kann mit der

ESC

Taste abgebrochen werden.

Umschalten zwischen den verschiedenen Kanälen

Wenn die Geräte erstmalig verbunden wurden, erfolgt die Umschaltung bzw. der Wechsel
zwischen den Kanälen standardmäßig mit

Fn

+ mittlerer Maustaste.

Betätigt man bei gedrückter

Fn

-Taste die mittlere Maustaste mehrere Male hintereinander,
kann somit bequem zwischen den aktiven Geräten gewechselt werden. Der Kanalwechsel
erfolgt umgehend nach dem Loslassen der

Fn

-Taste.

Alternativ, z.B. wenn keine Maus verwendet wird, kann auch mit den Tasten

Fn

+ F1 … F4

zwischen den 4 Kanälen umgeschaltet werden.

SONDERFUNKTIONEN UND
MULTIMEDIATASTEN

USB-Maus Anschluss

Der USB-Maus Anschluss dient ausschließlich zum Betrieb einer
kabelgebundenen oder kabellosen USB-Maus (Dongle).

Achtung! Bitte schließen Sie keine anderen USB-Geräte am
USB-Maus-Anschluss an.

Der Anschluss von anderen USB-Geräten könnte zu Fehlfunktionen der Tastatur oder des
angeschlossenen Gerätes führen!

Bei Verbindung der Tastatur über den Anschluss per USB-PS/2-Adapter ist der Betrieb einer
direkt an der Tastatur angeschlossenen USB-Maus nicht möglich.

Zusätzlich kann die Art der Kanalumschaltung per Maustasten auch individuell konfiguriert werden
(siehe Kapitel „Sonderfunktionen“ oder auf www.uniqey.net).

Bluetooth deaktivieren

Mit der Tastenkombination

Fn

+ F5 können Sie die Bluetooth-Funktion deaktivieren und

wieder aktivieren.
Mit

Fn

+ F2 … F4 wird eine deaktivierte Bluetooth-Funktion automatisch wieder aktiviert.

Hinweis: Bei jedem Neustart Ihres Systems bzw. der Tastatur ist die Bluetooth-Verbindung
automatisch deaktiviert. Diese wird mit dem Pairing bzw. der Umschaltung auf einen der
Bluetooth-Kanäle automatisch aktiviert.

USB bzw. PS/2 Modus auswählen

Mit der Tastenkombination

Fn

+ F1 wählen Sie die Betriebsart USB bzw. PS/2.

Das im Lieferumfang enthaltene Multi-Tool erfüllt mehrere Funktionen gleichzeitig

Es dient zur Aufbewahrung der
mitgelieferten wechselbaren
Gehäusefüße und kann direkt
am Mini-USB Versorgungskabel
befestigt werden. Somit haben
Sie die verschiedenen Füße zur
Anpassung der UNIQEY Tastatur
auf Ihre gewünschte ergonomische
Position immer griffbereit und beugen
so auch dem Verlust der Füße vor.

Zudem können mit Hilfe des Tools die
im Auslieferungszustand eingesetz­ten kurzen Gehäusefüße vorsichtig
entfernt bzw. gewechselt werden.

Zusätzliche Informationen und eine detaillierte Anleitung zu allen weiteren Sonderfunktionen

Multimediatasten

In Kombination mit

Fn

und den Multimediatasten können Sie die entsprechenden Funktionen

nutzen.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass sich die einzelnen Funktionen der Multimediatasten abhängig vom
verwendeten Gerät und Betriebssystem unterscheiden können.

Reinigung der Tastatur

Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung der Tastatur das im Lieferumfang enthaltene Microfaser-Reini­gungstuch. Weitere Informationen und Tipps zur Reinigung finden Sie auf www.uniqey.net.

Die Tastatur funktioniert nicht

Überprüfen Sie die USB- bzw. PS/2-Verbindung zum System.
Verwenden Sie keinen USB-HUB.
Schließen Sie die Tastatur an einen anderen USB-Anschluss Ihres Systems an.
Starten Sie Ihr System neu.

Weitere Informationen zur Fehlerbehebung finden Sie im FAQ-Bereich
auf unserer Webseite www.uniqey.net.

Nach dem Umprogrammieren der Tastatur, z. B. mit individuellen Makros,
stimmen die Angaben in dieser Bedienungsanleitung möglicherweise nicht mehr
mit den Tastenfunktionen überein.

Die mittleren und langen Füße können vorsichtig mit der Hand entfernt bzw. gewechselt werden.

Auch das Mini-USB Versorgungs­kabel lässt sich ganz einfach mit
Hilfe des Multi-Tools von der
Tastatur abziehen.

Füße oder Kabel nicht mit Gewalt entfernen! Niemals mit einem spitzen, metallischem Gegen­stand in die Öffnungen des Gehäuses stechen! Keine Zange o. ä. Werkzeuge verwenden!
Das Einstechen mit einem spitzen Gegenstand in die Gehäuseöffnungen oder Gewaltanwendung
kann die Tastatur beschädigen!

BLUETOOTH FUNCTIONS

Pairing/connecting to other Bluetooth devices

It is possible to connect up to three different Bluetooth devices to the keyboard. The keyboard
must always be connected to a USB port for the power supply.

Press the key

Fn

+ the desired Bluetooth key ( F2 … F4 ) and keep these pressed for longer
than 2 seconds until the corresponding LED (LED2…LED4) on the keyboard flashes rapidly.
The keyboard is now in pairing mode and is visible to other Bluetooth devices.

Now search for available Bluetooth devices using the device you want to link. The keyboard
is shown with its model names and the last 6 digits of the serial number, e.g. UNIQEY Q100
#123456. (You can find the serial number on the product label on the underside of the keyboard)

Now follow your system’s instructions for pairing. Depending on your system, you may be
asked to enter a code on the keyboard. Following successful pairing, the corresponding LED
stops flashing and the right-hand status LED4 is permanently illuminated. The Bluetooth
connection is now ready for use. The pairing setting is stored in the keyboard.

Ongoing pairing can be halted using the

ESC

key.

Switching between the various channels

When the devices are connected for the first time, switching between the channels takes place
as standard using

Fn

+ the centre mouse button.

If the centre mouse button is pressed several times in a row while the

Fn

key is pressed, it is
possible to conveniently toggle between the active devices. The channel is changed immediately
after the

Fn

key is released.

Alternatively, e.g. if no mouse is used, it is possible to also use the keys

Fn

+ F1 … F4

to switch between the 4 channels.

SPECIAL FUNCTIONS AND
MULTIMEDIA KEYS

USB mouse connector

The USB mouse connector is exclusively used to operate a wired
or wireless USB mouse (dongle).

Please note! Do not connect any other USB devices to the USB
mouse connector.

The connection of other USB devices could cause the keyboard or the connected device to
malfunction!

If the keyboard is connected via the USB PS/2 adapter, it is not possible to operate a USB mouse
connected directly to the keyboard.

In addition, it is also possible to individually configure the type of channel switching via mouse buttons
(see chapter ‘Special functions’ or www.uniqey.net).

Deactivating Bluetooth

You can deactivate and reactivate the Bluetooth function with the key combination

Fn

+ F5.

Using

Fn

+ F2 … F4, a deactivated Bluetooth function is automatically reactivated.

Please note: If your system or keyboard is restarted, the Bluetooth connection is
automatically deactivated. This is automatically activated with pairing or by switching
to one of the Bluetooth channels.

The multi tool supplied fulfils several functions at the same time

It is used to store the supplied,
replaceable housing feet and
can be attached directly to the
mini USB supply cable. This
means you always have the
various feet for adapting the
UNIQEY keyboard to your de­sired ergonomic position close to
hand and also prevent the feet from being lost.

What’s more, the tool can be used to
carefully remove or swap the short
housing feet attached to the keyboard
in the factory.

You can find more information about the supported mouse functions in the appendix.

Additional information and detailed instructions on all further special functions of your UNIQEY
keyboard, such as macro programming, altering the LED colours and brightness, Bluetooth
channel switching using the mouse buttons and more, can be found at www.uniqey.net.

Multimedia keys

In combination with

Fn

and the multimedia keys, you can use the corresponding functions.

Please note that the individual functions of the multimedia keys may differ depending on the
device and operating system used.

Cleaning the keyboard

To clean the keyboard, use the microfibre cleaning cloth supplied. More information and tips on
cleaning can be found at www.uniqey.net.

Please note the safety instructions on the enclosed information sheet ‘Important Information’.

The keyboard does not work

Verify the USB or PS/2 connection to the system.
Do not use a USB hub.
Connect the keyboard to another of your system’s USB ports.
Restart your system.

You can find more information about troubleshooting in the FAQs section
on our website www.uniqey.net.

After reprogramming the keyboard, e.g. with individual macros,
the information in this operating manual may no
longer correspond to the key functions.

The medium and long feet can be carefully removed or swapped by hand.

The mini USB supply cable can also
be easily removed from the key­board with the aid of the multi tool.

Do not remove the feet or cable by force! Never stick a sharp, metallic object into the housing
openings! Do not use pliers or similar tools! Inserting a sharp object into the housing openings
or using force can damage the keyboard!
