2.5 mm adapterMeter Connector Glooko MeterSync Blue
1) Download and open the Glooko app
Before you begin:
• Your mobile device’s Wi-Fi or cellular connection must be turned ON.
• Check that you are using the latest version of the Glooko app.
2) Pair your Glooko MeterSync Blue with your iOS
or Android device (one-time only)
If Bluetooth is not ON, on your iOS or Android device, you will be prompted to
do so in the Glooko app.
Note: You will not see the Gloo ko MeterSync Blue listed under d evices in the Bluetooth Set tings on your iOS or
Android device. To check if yo ur Glooko MeterSync Blue is con nected, refer to the Setti ngs screen of the Glooko app.
Open the Glooko app to pair with your Glooko MeterSync Blue:
• First-time user: click on Start Syncing Your Meter on the Home screen of the
Glooko app to initiate the pairing and downloading tutorial.
• Returning user: If you have previously used Glooko, but are setting up the
Glooko MeterSync Blue for the rst time, pair from the Settings screen of the
Glooko app.
Go to Settings>MeterSync Blue>Setup New Device to initiate the pairing tutorial.
3) Download your glucose meter

ACCU-CHEK® meters
You will need: Glooko MeterSync Blue
1. With your meter OFF, press and hold down the arrow (or M and S) buttons
until sync icons symbols appear on the meter’s display.
No te: Be sure to press down on the meter but tons at the exact same tim e. If your meter turns ON instead
tur n it OFF and try again.
2. Rest the meter on a at surface.
3. Point the infrared window of the Glooko MeterSync Blue so it faces the
infrared window on your meter.
4. Press and hold the blue power button on the Glooko MeterSync Blue for one
second – you will see a blinking green light.
5. Depending on if you’re a new or returning user, press Start Syncing Your
Meter or Sync on the Home Screen of the Glooko app.
Bayer® meters
You will need: Glooko MeterSync Blue and the meter connector
1. Plug one end of the meter connector into the audio port of the Glooko
MeterSync Blue.
2. Plug the other end of the meter connector into your Bayer meter.
3. Press the power button on your Bayer meter to turn it ON.
4. Press and hold the blue power button on the Glooko MeterSync Blue for one
second – you will see a blinking green light.
5. Depending on if you’re a new or returning user, press Start Syncing Your
Meter or Sync on the Home Screen of the Glooko app.
CareSens® meters
You will need: Glooko MeterSync Blue, meter connector, and 2.5 mm adapter
1. Plug one end of the meter connector into the audio port of the Glooko
MeterSync Blue.
2. Attach the 2.5 mm adapter to the other end of the meter connector and plug
it into your CareSens meter.
3. Press the S button to put your meter into data transfer mode.
4. Press and hold the blue power button on the Glooko MeterSync Blue for one
second – you will see a blinking green light.
5. Depending on if you’re a new or returning user, press Start Syncing Your
Meter or Sync on the Home Screen of the Glooko app.
FreeStyle® meters
You will need: Glooko MeterSync Blue, meter connector, and 2.5 mm adapter
1. Plug one end of the meter connector into the audio port of the Glooko
MeterSync Blue.
2. Attach the 2.5 mm adapter to the other end of the meter connector and plug
it into your FreeStyle meter.
3. Press and hold the blue power button on the Glooko MeterSync Blue for one
second – you will see a blinking green light.
4. Depending on if you’re a new or returning user, press Start Syncing Your
Meter or Sync on the Home Screen of the Glooko app.
No te: The FreeStyle meter can be turned ON o r be kept OFF.
GLUCOCARD® meters
You will need: Glooko MeterSync Blue, meter connector, and 2.5 mm adapter
1. Plug one end of the meter connector into the audio port of the Glooko
MeterSync Blue.
2. Attach the 2.5 mm adapter to the other end of the meter connector and plug
it into your GLUCOCARD meter.
3. Press and hold the blue power button on the Glooko MeterSync Blue for one
second – you will see a blinking green light.
4. Depending on if you’re a new or returning user, press Start Syncing Your
Meter or Sync on the Home Screen of the Glooko app.
Nipro® meters
You will need: Glooko MeterSync Blue and the meter connector
1. Plug one end of the meter connector into the audio port of the Glooko
MeterSync Blue.
2. Plug the other end of the meter connector into your Nipro meter.
3. Press and hold the blue power button on the Glooko MeterSync Blue for one
second – you will see a blinking green light.
4. Depending on if you’re a new or returning user, press Start Syncing Your
Meter or Sync on the Home Screen of the Glooko app.
No te: The Nipro meter can be turned ON or b e kept OFF.

OneTouch® meters
You will need: Glooko MeterSync Blue and the meter connector
1. Plug one end of the meter connector into the audio port of the Glooko
MeterSync Blue.
2. Plug the other end of the meter connector into your OneTouch meter.
3. Press and hold the blue power button on the Glooko MeterSync Blue for one
second – you will see a blinking green light.
4. Depending on if you’re a new or returning user, press Start Syncing Your
Meter or Sync on the Home Screen of the Glooko app.
ReliOn® meters
You will need: Glooko MeterSync Blue, meter connector, and 2.5 mm adapter
1. Plug one end of the meter connector into the audio port of the Glooko
MeterSync Blue.
2. Attach the 2.5 mm adapter to the other end of the meter connector and plug
it into your ReliOn meter.
3. Press and hold the blue power button on the Glooko MeterSync Blue for one
second – you will see a blinking green light.
4. Depending on if you’re a new or returning user, press Start Syncing Your
Meter or Sync on the Home Screen of the Glooko app.

Possible Causes
Multiple Glooko
MeterSync Blue devices
are within range.
Battery has run out of power.
Bluetooth is not enabled
on your mobile device.
Too much distance between
the Glooko MeterSync Blue
and your mobile device.
Interference with other apps.
Issue with mobile device.
Solution
Move to a place where there are
no additional Glooko MeterSync
Blue devices and try to pair again.
If the LED is not ON or blinks
weakly upon pressing the power
button, replace the battery
(CR2032).
Turn ON Bluetooth in your mobile
device to allow the Glooko
MeterSync Blue to pair with your
mobile device.
Bring the Glooko MeterSync Blue
and your mobile device closer to
each other.
Other Bluetooth-capable apps
that stream audio may interfere
with downloading. Hard quit your
apps and then relaunch the
Glooko app.
Power o your mobile device
and restart it.

Intended Use
The Glooko device system for the Glooko application is data management
software intended for use in home and professional settings to aid individuals
with diabetes and their healthcare professionals in review, analysis, and
evaluation of blood glucose readings to support an eective diabetes
management program. The Glooko device system for the Glooko application
connects to compatible FDA cleared meters and allows users to transfer their
blood glucose meter results to their mobile devices running on an iOS or Android
operating system.
The Glooko device system for the Glooko application is not intended to provide
treatment decisions or to be used as a substitute for professional healthcare advice.
