The Unique ID tag is located inside the Trakdot™

luggage tracker. Hold the black outer shell and gently
push the orange middle portion and reveal the battery
compartment and note the ID Tag before you put the
batteries in.
Insert two AA batteries into the battery compartment,

then slide back the black outer shell. When the device
has a low battery it will alert you via SMS and email,
but if you should forget, the LED will start ashing RED,
constantly to let you know the device is no longer able
to register with the Network. CAUTION: DO NOT USE
LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES.

number go to www.trakdot.com and click on “ACTIVATE
DEVICE” tab or download the Trakdot™ App from the
Apple Store or Android Market (depending on the
smartphone you own).
Sign up and register your device. You can enter up to six

cell phones and six email addresses to notify you once
your luggage arrives at destination airport.

Push the center button and HOLD for 3 seconds; the RED

LED will shine for 10 seconds and go off. Wait 30 seconds
then press the center button ONE TIME (quickly) and the LED
will turn GREEN, letting you know that it has successfully
registered on the network. You may push the button (quickly)
at any time for your own peace of mind that the device is
operating properly.

specic instructions for activating your Bluetooth app.

Trakdot™ Luggage Limited Warranty
What This Warranty Covers
This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in your Trakdot™
Luggage device for two years from the date of purchase. Globatrac, LLC will replace
your device with a new unit at no cost to you. There will be no activation fee for the
new unit and your existing annual service will remain intact.
Globatrac, LLC will cover the shipping costs of returning the defective unit and the
shipping cost of the replacement unit.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This limited warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by accident,
misuse, abuse, neglect, re, water, other acts of nature, unauthorized or improper
modications or repairs, improper maintenance, usage not in accordance with
the product instructions, or usage or storage in unsuitable physical or operating
environments. Note: this device will not work without a cell phone signal.
