Chapter 2Start to Use

Install Battery

Magnetic North Adjustment

1. When using YE-GD101 for the first time, YE-GD101 will automatically perform the magnetic-north adjustment as seen in the screenshot below.

3-1 Direction Indication Screen

Indication Description
The GPS fix indication will keep ON when device ge GPS fix. GPS fix indicat or will flash when device does not have GPS fix.

3-1-1 Automatic Setting the Destina ti on

1. Setting button to select destination’s coordinates.
Description
2. After YE-GD101 has GPS fix, long click Se lection/ Setting button will save the present coordinates as the selected destination’s coordinates.
While YE-GD101 is saving coordinates, YE-GD101 will display as seen in the screen sho t to the left and then return to the direction indication screen.
If you try to s av e the present coordinates under no GPS fix status, YE-GD101 will display as seen in the screenshot to the left and then return t indication screen.
