CAUTION
Change the lock combination to a number sequence other than the factory preset code of 1-6-8 to ensure security. Do not keep the keys in the safe.
Installing or Changing Batteries
1. Open the safe using the override/emergency key and locate the battery compartment.
2. Remove the battery box cap.
3. Insert 9-V battery (not included)
4. If the battery has been properly installed there will be 2 beeps and a yellow light will flash twice.
5. Replace battery box cap.
6. Test the code before locking the safe door.
Low Battery Warning: If the battery is low, a red light will appear when the keypad is pressed. If the battery is drained, open the safe using the override/emergency key.

Safe Operation And Programming
Your 1st user code is factory set to: 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8. Your 2nd user code is factory set to: 1+6+8.
Operating Safe Door
1. Enter the factory preset code: 1+6+8+# on keypad, a green light will turn on.
2. Turn the handle clockwise to open the safe before the green light turns off.
3. To lock the safe, close the door and turn the handle back to the locked position.
4. Invalid Code: 4 beeps.
NOTE: Always make sure the safe is locked before walking away.
Programing The Digital Combination Lock
Changing the 1st user code (code length:1-8digit code)
1. Open the safe and locate the red reset button on the inside of the door.
2. Press the reset button, there will be 2 beeps and a yellow light will appear for 20 seconds.
3. Before the yellow light disappears enter a new code and press the "*" key. The new code must be between 3 to 8 digits. If the code is valid, the keypad will beep twice. If a wrong code has been entered or code entry has failed, there will be 5 beeps, wait for the yellow light to disappear and repeat above steps 1-3.

WARNING
Test the new code several times (CODE+"#") before closing and locking the door.
Changing the 2nd user code (code length:1-8digit code)
1. Open the safe and locate the red reset button on the inside of the door.
2. Input 0-0 on the keypad, and press the reset button, there will be 2 beeps and a yellow light will appear for 20 seconds.
3. Before the yellow light disappears enter a new code and press the "*" key. The new code must be between 3 to 8 digits. If the code is valid, the keypad will beep twice. If a wrong code has been entered or code entry has failed, there will be 4 beeps, wait for the yellow light to disappear and repeat above steps 1-3.
WARNING
Test the new code several times (CODE+"#") before closing and locking the door.
Security Lockout
If the code is correct, a green light will turn on for 5 seconds. If the incorrect code is entered, a red light will turn on, followed by 4 beeps. If an incorrect code is entered three times in a row, the keypad will automatically lock for 15 minutes.
Override Keys To Open The Safe
In case of a forgotten password or if the battery is drained, use the override lock system to open the safe.
1. Remove the battery.

Locate the plastic logo sticker on the top of the lock pad.
3. Remove the logo sticker to locate the screw under the lock pad. Note: The logo sticker should be placed back on the lock pad, so avoid adhesive wear or placing it on surfaces.
4. Use a Phillips Head Screwdriver to remove the screw connecting the keypad face to keypad collar.
5.
Carefully let the keypad face hang with wires still attached.
6. Locate the override key slot inside the keypad collar. With the larger notches facing up, insert the key into the slot. The key may need to be angled slightly for it to slide in properly.
7. Once the key is snug, turn counter clockwise; then pull the handle to open the door.

• Do not keep the keys in the safe.
• Remove the battery when using the keys.
Do not pull or tug on keypad face or wires, it is crucial that
the wire stay intact and connected for the lock to operate.
• Global Industrial is not liable for any damages that may occur to the lock while accessing the override key slot
Reinstalling The Keypad Face
1. Carefully grip the keypad face, holding it so the face is
out and the numbers are right side-up.
2. Reattach to the keypad collar by inserting the bottom
first, so the notch connects. Then carefully press/push into keypad collar casing.
3. Once snug in place, screw the keypad face back to the
keypad collar and replace the logo sticker.
CAUTION
Be careful with the wiring. Do not pinch wires in between the keypad face and collar.
