MAINTENANCE
FILTER CLEANING
Filter should be cleaned periodically to remove dust and debris. Dust and debris in the filter will reduce airflow and may cause the cooler to overheat.
The filter is located on the front of the machine and can be removed by holding the lip and pulling straight up until it is out of the retaining grid.
To clean the filter use a mild detergent and a soft cloth and rinse with clean water.
DO NOT REPLACE filter into holder until it is dry.
STORAGE OF UNIT
Unplug unit and drain water from condensation tank. Make sure tank is dry before storing. Clean Filter as noted above.
Store cooler in upright position DO NOT LAY DOWN on sides. Store in a dry location.

RUNNING THE SPOT COOLER
1. Rotate the power knob on top of the unit clockwise (to the right) to the LOW position. To increase airflow rotate the knob clockwise (to the right) to the HIGH position.
2. To turn off the cooler rotate the knob in the counter clock direction (to the left) to the OFF position.
DO NOT RESTART THE COOLER FOR 3 MINUTES AFTER YOU HAVE TURNED IT OFF.
ADJUSTING OUTPUT DUCT
1. Pipe can be rotated 360 degrees.
2. Pipe can be tilted approximately 15 degrees (4 inches).
TROUBLESHOOTING
The spot cooler has three automatic shutoffs.
1. Overheat Shutoff protection: The cooler has an overheat protection system
in the compressor that shuts off the unit if it overheats. Overheating can be caused by Low Voltage, high ambient temperature or air outlet blockage. These conditions can cause the condenser to overheat. Turn cooler off and allow unit to reset before re-starting.
2. When the water condensation tank is 75 percent full it will automatically
shut off the cooler and indicator lamp will illuminate until the tank is emptied. To restart, turn off the cooler using the power switch on the top of the cooler. Then empty the water tank and replace into the machine. To restart the cooler using the power knob on top of the cooler.
3. GFIC circuit on the plug has tripped. Turn the cooler off using the knob
on top of unit then press the reset button on the plug then turn the cooler on using the knob on the top of the unit.

BEFORE STARTING YOUR SPOT COOLER
ALLOW COOLER TO STAND IN AN UPRIGHT POSITION FOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS.
1. Place the cooler at least 3 feet from wall or obstruction.
2. Only place on level surface

4. Test the GFIC plug by
depressing the lower button on the plug.
5. Reset GFIC plug by depressing
the RESET button.
6. Rotate power switch to LOW
position fan will start.
7. To increase air output turn
switch to HIGH position.

WATER TANK
The condensation tank is located behind a small plastic cover. To remove tank place your finger into the plastic cover and pull to remove the cover. The tank is equipped with an automatic shut off valve that will turn the cooler off once the tank is 3/4 full and indicator light will illuminate.
Remove the cover exposing the tank. Slide the tank out of the pocket. Empty the tank.
Slide the tank back into the pocket and replace the cover by placing the tabs on the cover onto the slots on the face of the case and press the cover into place.
Before moving cooler at any time the condensation tank should be emptied, to prevent water from spilling into cooler. Unplug cooler from power supply before performing any maintenance or moving the cooler.
