GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 Instrument Capability
1.2 Product Identification
The Model 677F remote-mount analog flowmeter/transmitter
can be used with any GLI impeller flow sensor. With standard brackets, the Model 677F can be panel, surface, or
horizontal pipe mounted. When ordered with special, optional mounting brackets, the Model 677F can be vertical
pipe mounted.
The Model 677F provides flow rate measurements, and may
be equipped with a 6-digit resetting totalizer or a 7-digit
non-resetting totalizer. In this case, the Model 677F also
provides a reading of total volumetric flow.
The Model 677F transmits a 4-20 mA signal, corresponding
to the measured flow rate, on a simple two-wire hookup.
Any of the following (or similar type) devices can be connected to the Model 677F:
• Data logger
• Recorder
• Remote readout
The instrument serial number is located on the backside of
the display board. Refer to this serial number for convenient
identification should technical assistance be required.
