Thank you for buying the Gioteck FL400 Wireless Gaming Headset
& Bluetooth® Speakers. These Headphones are designed to be
convenient, stylish and provide high quality audio Playback from any
Bluetooth enabled Audio Device or wired only device.

The FL400 Wireless Gaming Headset includes support via USB Dongle
for PlayStation®4, PlayStation®3 and USB Audio for PCs and Macs that
do not support Bluetooth.

The FL400 can be used in Bluetooth mode to receive telephone calls
while in use and will automatically pause the audio playback in order to
receive the call and when the call ends audio Playback will resume.

The FL400 can also be used as portable Bluetooth stereo speakers for
enjoying music with friends or listening to movies together.

Please read this User Guide thoroughly before use so that you can
understand the setup and functions.

SETUP

Note: Please fully charge the battery before using for the first time.

See “Charging the Headphones” on Page 10 for details.

TURNING THE HEADPHONES ON/OFF (BLUETOOTH MODE)

To turn the Headphones ON simply hold down the Power Button on the
left ear cup for 5 seconds. The status LED Indicator on the earcup will
flash three times, and you will hear a “Power On” voice through the
Headphones. Repeat this process to turn the Headphones OFF (and you
will hear a “Power Off” voice through the Headphones.)

Please note: To conserve power, if the headset is not connected to a device

for approximately 10 minutes, the headset will turn of f automatically.
To reactivate the Headphone just push the Power button.

The set up of this product varies depending on the device you are
using it with. Please locate the relevant section in the next few
pages before continuing with product set up.

CONNECTING PLAYSTATION®4/3, PC, MAC

1] Plug the USB Dongle into a USB port on the device you want to connect.
2] Turn the Headphones ON by holding down the power button on the

Right Earcup for 5 seconds.

3] The headphones will automatically pair with the USB Dongle.

For specific setup instructions for your chosen device please refer to
the instructions below:

PS4

• PS4 > Settings > Devices > Audio Devices > Output to headphones >
Select ‘All Audio’.

• Input and Output Device should be set to ‘Gioteck FL400.’

• Adjust Mic sensitivity and volume output settings to desired levels.

PS3

Settings > Accessory Settings > Audio Device Settings > Choose the
‘Gioteck FL400’ as INPUT & OUTPUT.

PC

Sound > Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Manage Audio
Devices. On the Playback and Recording tabs select ‘Gioteck FL400’ as
default in the application you are using.

CONNECTING DEVICES WITH BLUETOOTH®

1] Turn the Headphones ON by holding down the power button on the

left earcup for 5 seconds. If no previously paired devices are found
the headset will enter pairing mode immediately and say “pairing”.
Pairing mode is indicated by the Status LED on the earcups flashing
blue. The headphones are now ready to connect to the device.

2] Go to the Bluetooth® option in the settings of your Bluetooth

Audio device or Smartphone and select ‘FL400’ in the list of devices.
You will hear a voice say “connected”. The headphones are now
ready to use.

On future use, the headphones should pair automatically
within 10 seconds.

MAC

System Preferences > Sound. Set Input and Output ‘Gioteck FL400’.
Then select ‘Gioteck FL400’ as default in the application you are using.

Please note: When the FL400 is connected to the USB Dongle

Volume Up, Volume Down and Mute functions are operated with
the controls on the RIGHT EARCUP.

CONNECTING XBOX ONE®

1] Plug the provided 3.5mm audio cable into the headset port on the left

ear cup and connect the other end of the cable into the 3.5mm port on
the controller.

2] Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘All Settings’ >‘Kinect & devices’ > ‘Devices &

accessories’ and then select your controller and adjust your
audio options.

NOTE: Older Xbox One controllers without a 3.5mm headset port will

require the Microsoft® Stereo Headset Adapter (sold separately).
Please follow the instructions below to adjust the volume and chat/
audio mix when using the stereo adapter:

• Connect your headset to the Microsoft headset adapter using the
provided audio cable.

• Game/Chat Audio Mix: The two buttons on the left side of the
Microsoft headset adapter adjust the mix of game audio versus
chat audio. If you want more game volume than chat volume, press
the top button with the controller icon until you reach the level you
want. A tone will sound when you have reached the maximum level.
To increase the chat volume, press the bottom button with the head
symbol on the left side of the Microsoft headset adapter. Note: If you
don’t want to hear the T V, simply turn down the volume on your TV.
(When a headset is plugged into the adapter on your controller, sound
from the TV is not automatically muted.)

• Mute: This button mutes your chat audio so other users can’t hear
your voice. The orange LED will illuminate when you are muted.

To use the FL400 with devices that do not support Bluetooth®, you will
need to plug the provided 3.5mm audio cable into the headset port on
the left earcup and connect the other end of the cable into the 3.5mm
port on your controller / audio device. (Note: This also allows you to use
the headphones in places where wireless signals are restricted).

• Volume: The volume up and down buttons (on the right) control all
audio coming to your headset, including game and chat audio. If you
don’t want to increase both game and chat audio at the same rate,
adjust the game/chat audio balance.

HEADPHONE FUNCTIONALITY

(BLUETOOTH® MODE)

ADJUSTING VOLUME

Press the volume +/- key to adjust the volume. One short press will
adjust one level. A tone will sound when the volume reaches its
maximum or minimum level.

VOICE CALL FUNCTIONS

When connected to a Bluetooth® Enabled Smartphone, the FL400 can
function as a hands-free headset.

The operation of these features is via the LEFT EARCUP.

PLAY/PAUSE MUSIC

Press Multi-function Button one time to Play or Pause music.

PREVIOUS/NEXT SONG

When playing music you can press “Volume Up” button for 2 seconds to
play next song and press “Volume Down” button for 2 seconds to play
the previous song.

MUTE FUNCTION

To mute the Headphones push the Mute Button, to un-mute simply
push the Button again. When the Microphone is muted the Microphone
Indication LED will turn red.

BASS BOOST (USB MODE ONLY)

Amplify the sound on the Gioteck FL400 by pressing the Multi-Function
Button on the Right Earcup for 2 seconds. This will simulate a wider
range of sound.

RECEIVING A PHONE CALL

If you are listening to music when there is incoming Phone call or you
are making a Phone call, the Headphones will automatically switch
the connection from the music player to the Phone. The Music will be
paused temporarily. After you end the call, the music resumes.

To answer a call, push the Multi-function Button quickly.
To end the call, push the Multi-function Button quickly again.

Note: When you press Multi-function Button to answer or end a call,
please just press one time.

MAKING A PHONE CALL

3] Use the Phone’s keypad to dial the phone number.
4] Press Phones “SEND” or “OK” key. The Phone begins the call and

automatically transfers the call from the Phone to the FL400.

MICROPHONE MUTE

In a call mode, press the Mute button on the FL400 Headphones, you can
switch to open and close mute function. When in mute mode, the LED on
the boom Microphone will illuminate RED.

USING THE PORTABLE SPEAKERS
(BLUETOOTH MODE)

To use the Ex ternal Speaker function in Bluetooth mode, please follow
this procedure;
1] Disconnect the 2 fixed audio cables from the headband and both of

the earcups.

2] Remove the earcups from the headband by carefully pulling them

away from the Headband housing.

3] When the earcups are disconnected from the headband, use the

provided 3.5mm audio cable to connect the left and right earcup
speakers together through the fixed audio cable ports on the top of
the earcups.

4] To enable the External Speaker Mode, hold the left earcup multi-

function button for 2 Seconds. To change back to headphones mode
hold the left earcup multi-function button for 2 Seconds.

CHARGING THE HEADPHONES

1] To charge the Headphones, use the supplied USB cable and insert into

any powered USB Port. Normal charging process takes 2-3 hours.

2] The red LED on the left Earcup will turn on when charging and will

turn of f when charging is complete.

3] Make sure the battery has been fully charged and fully released at the

first three times of use to ensure the battery the best performance.
After charging is complete, please remove the cable from the
Headphones and the USB Cable from the USB port.

Do not keep the Headphones connected to the USB port for a long time
when charging complete as this will shorten the lifetime of the Battery.

KOPFHÖRER AN/AUSSCHALTEN (BLUETOOTH-MODUS)

Um den Kopfhörer ANZUSCHALTEN, halte einfach den Einschaltknopf
an der linken Ohrmuschel für 5 Sekunden gedrückt. Die Status-LED
auf der Ohrmuschel wird drei Mal aufleuchten, und du wirst eine
„Eingeschaltet“-Nachricht durch deinen Kopfhörer hören. Wiederhole
diesen Vorgang, um die Kopfhörer AUSZUSCHALTEN. (Du wirst eine
„Ausgeschaltet“-Nachricht durch deine Kopfhörer hören.)

Bitte beachte: Wenn dein Headset et wa 10 Minuten lang mit keinem Gerät
verbunden ist, wird es sich automatisch ausschalten um Energie zu sparen.
Drücke den Einschaltknopf, um deinen Kopfhörer zu reaktivieren.

MIT BLUETOOTH®-GERÄTEN VERBINDEN

Gerät gefunden wurde, mit dem der Kopfhörer zuvor bereits
verbunden war, wird das Headset sofor t in den Verbindungs-Modus
schalten und eine „Verbinden“-Nachricht ertönt. Die Status-LED
auf den Ohrmuscheln leuchten blau, wenn sich das Headset im
Verbindungsmodus befindet. Der Kopfhörer kann jetzt mit einem
Gerät verbunden werden.

2] Gehe zu den Bluetooth®-Einstellungen des Geräts oder

Smartphones, das du verwenden möchtest, und wähle „FL400“ aus
der Liste der Geräte aus. Du wirst die Audio-Nachricht „Verbunden“
hören. Der Kopfhörer kann jetzt verwendet werden.

Hinweis: Zukünftig wird sich dein Kopfhörer innerhalb von 10 Sekunden
automatisch mit Bluethooth®-Geräten verbinden, mit denen er schon
einmal verbunden war.

MIT PLAYSTATION®4/3, PC ODER MAC VERBINDEN

1] Schließe das USB-Dongle an einen USB-Anschluss des Gerätes an,

deinen Wünschen an.

Gehe zu Einstellungen > Peripheriegeräte-Einstellungen > Audio-Gerät­Einstellungen. Wähle anschließend das „Gioteck FL400“ als Aus- und
Eingabegerät.

PC

Sound > Start > Systemsteuerung > Hardware und Sound > Audiogeräte
verwalten. Wähle „Gioteck FL400“ in den Wiedergabe- und Aufnahme­Reitern als Standard aus.

MAC

Systemeinstellungen > Sound. Wähle „Gioteck FL400“ als Ein- und
Ausgabegerät aus. Wähle dann „Gioteck FL400“ als Standard in der
Anwendung, die du ausführen möchtest.

BITTE BEACHTE: Wenn der FL400 mit dem USB-Dongle verbunden ist,

werden die Lautstärke- und Stummschalt-Funktionen über die Knöpfe
an der rechten Ohrmuschel gesteuert.

MIT XBOX ONE® VERBINDEN

1] Schließe das mitgelieferte 3,5-mm-Audiokabel an den Anschluss

2] Gehe zu Einstellungen > Alle Einstellungen > Kinect & Geräte >

um die Audio-Optionen anzupassen.

ACHTUNG: Ältere Xbox One-Controller, die über einen 3,5-mm-

Kopfhörer-Anschluss verfügen, benötigen den Microsoft® Adapter
für Stereo-Headsets (separat erhältlich). Bitte folge den Anweisungen
weiter unten, um Lautstärke und Chat/Audio-Mix unter Verwendung
des Stereo-Adapters anzupassen:

• Verbinde dein Headset und den Microsoft Headset-Adapter mit Hilfe
des beiliegenden Audio-Kabels.

• Spiel/Chat-Audio-Mix: Die zwei Knöpfe auf der linken Seite des
Microsoft Headset-Adapters regeln die Lautstärke des Spiel-Sounds
gegenüber dem Chat-Sound. Betätige den oberen Knopf mit dem
Controller-Symbol, um den Spiel-Sound lauter als den Chat-Sound
werden zu lassen. Ein Ton wird abgespielt, wenn die maximale
Lautstärke erreicht wurde. Um die Chat-Lautstärke zu erhöhen,
muss der untere Knopf mit dem Kopf-Symbol auf der linken Seite
des Microsoft Headset-Adapters betätigt werden. Hinweis: Wenn
du deinen Fernseher nicht hören möchtest, kannst du einfach die
Lautstärke des Fernsehers ändern. (Wenn ein Headset am Adapter
deines Controllers angeschlossen wurde, wird dein Fernseher nicht
automatisch stummgeschaltet.)

• Stumm: Dieser Knopf schaltet dein Mikrofon stumm, sodass andere
Nutzer im Chat dich nicht mehr hören können. Eine orange LED
leuchtet auf, wenn dein Mikrofon stumm geschaltet wurde.

LAUTSTÄRKE ANPASSEN

Drücke die “+/-”-Lautstärke-Taste, um die Lautstärke anzupassen.
Kurzes Betätigen änder t die Lautstärke um eine Stufe. Es wird
ein weiterer Ton abgespielt, wenn die Lautstärke die höchste oder
niedrigste Stufe erreicht hat.

MUSIK ABSPIELEN/PAUSIEREN

Drücke einmal auf die Multifunktionstaste, um Musik abzuspielen oder
zu pausieren.

SPRACHANRUFFUNKTIONEN

Wenn du das FL400 an ein Bluetooth®-fähiges Smartphone anschließt,
kannst du es als Headset dafür verwenden. Diese Funktionen werden

über die LINKE OHRMUSCHEL bedient.

TELEFONANRUF ERHALTEN

Wenn du Musik hörst und einen Telefonanruf erhältst oder einen Anruf
tätigst, schaltet der Kopfhörer automatisch zwischen Musik-Player
und Telefon um. Die Musikwiedergabe wird dabei temporär pausiert.
Sobald du aufgelegt hast, wird die Musik wieder abgespielt.

VORIGES/NÄCHSTES LIED

Wenn du Musik hörst, kannst du die Taste “Lautstärke erhöhen”
2 Sekunden lang gedrückt halten, um das nächste Lied abzuspielen –
bei “Lautstärke verringern” (2 Sekunden) wird dagegen das vorige
Lied abgespielt.

STUMMSCHALTEN-FUNKTION

Um den Kopfhörer stummzuschalten, drücke auf die Stummschalten­Taste. Drücke die Taste erneut, um die Stummschaltung wieder
aufzuheben. Wenn das Mikrofon stummgeschaltet ist, leuchtet die
Mikrofon-Anzeige-LED rot.

BASS-VERSTÄRKUNG (NUR IM USB-MODUS)

Verstärke den Sound auf dem Gioteck FL400, indem du die
Multifunktionstaste auf der rechten Ohrmuschel für 2 Sekunden
gedrückt hältst. Dadurch wird eine größere Sound-Bandbreite
simuliert.

Um einen Anruf entgegenzunehmen, drücke kurz auf die
Multifunktionstaste. Drücke erneut kurz auf die Multifunktionstaste,
um den Anruf zu beenden.

Hinweis: Drücke die Multifunktionstaste nur einmal, um einen Anruf
entgegenzunehmen oder ihn zu beenden.

TELEFONANRUF TÄTIGEN

1] Wähle die Nummer über das Tastenfeld deines Smartphones.
2] Drücke dann auf die Tasten “SENDEN” oder “OK” auf deinem

Smartphone. Dein Smar tphone wählt die Nummer und transferiert
den Anruf automatisch auf deinen FL400-Kopfhörer.

Drücke im Anrufmodus auf die Stummschalten-Taste deines
FL400-Kopfhörers, um das Mikrofon stummzuschalten oder die
Stummschaltung aufzuheben. Wenn das Mikrofon stummgeschaltet ist,
leuchtet die LED des Mikrofons ROT.
