GIMA thanks you for having purchased one of its products and invites you to carefully and thoroughly read the
Operator’s Manual, split up into operating and maintenance.
The manual contains all the instructions needed for correct product use. Please carefully follow the instructions
contained in the manual, look after and not make any changes to it, and keep it readily available to the operator. In case
of sale of transfer of the appliance, this must always be accompanied by this manual.
The contents of this Manual may be amended by GIMA, without prior notice or any further obligations, in order to
include changes and improvements.
The reproduction and translation of any part of this manual is forbidden without the written permission of GIMA.
Please be informed that our company is at your complete disposal to provide information and details relating to product
operation and maintenance.
General information
1.1 Appliance identification data
Conformity is documented by the plate with CE marking (fitted to the product) and by the declaration of conformity
which accompanies this booklet.
The plate is placed on the rail bar, in front position (Z400075) and on the relative clamp (Z400072).

1.2 Contents of packaging
The packaging contains 1 rail bar (Z400075) with rubber caps at the ends, 3 spacers for accessory bar, 3 M6 steel
screws, 3 x Ø12mm wall anchors and 1 clamp (Z400072).

Before proceeding to open the packaging, first of all ensure that this is in good condition and
has not been damaged during transport and that the contents coincide with what is shown
above.
Claims will only be taken into consideration if the seller or carrier has been immediately
notified. All claims must be made in writing. Goods always travel under the responsibility and
at the risk of the buyer.
Keep the original packaging in case the device has to be re-dispatched.

End of life-cycle product disposal procedures: in case of decommissioning, all the materials, 100% recyclable, can be
disposed of without sanitization. Comply with applicable laws on waste disposal. This product must not be disposed of
in standard waste disposal bins. To avoid risks for the environment and health deriving from the dispersion of polluting
substances in the environment, separate the various internal component parts such as iron, aluminium, rubber, and
dispose of these through authorized channels so as to ensure correct recycling.
Using the appliance
2.1 Safety indications
Every six months, it is best to check the sturdiness of the bar wall supports. It is also best to make sure the
support screws are tight. Any technician or medical personnel who have read the manual section 2.4 is able to
perform this operation.
The max applicable load is 25 kg/m uniformly distributed.
The maximum torque is 80 N/m.
Bars fitted on walls are able to withstand a vertical force of 150N and a traction of 150N applied at the same
time, without breakages or permanent deformations of the bar or any of its component parts.
The max distance between the spacers is below the 60 mm maximum recommended.
2.2 Installation of the rail bar
Install the bar following the step-by-step instructions 2.4.

Before going ahead with cleaning operations, and any other operation on the product,
disconnect power to the connected equipment.
Take the RAIL bar and place it at the desired
height, in correspondence of the established
fixing point
Using a spirit level check the parallelism of the
bar and, using a pen, mark the points in
correspondence of the fixing holes
Using a driller perform three holes in
correspondence of the two marks.
Diameter and depth of holes: diam.12mm,
depth 55mm
2.3 Cleaning
All the parts of the product (Z400075 and Z400072) can be cleaned using standard detergents on all surfaces and can be
disinfected using standard disinfectants available on the market (no corrosive liquids or those containing chlorine)
wiping with a soft damp cloth.

2.4 Step-by-step instructions
Before proceeding with fitting, make sure the wall is a supporting wall and build of solid brick. Installation on walls of
perforated bricks and plasterboard is only allowed with the fitting of a plate on the opposite side of the wall (sandwich
closing).

Take the anchors and insert them in the holes
just made, bringing to beat the washer with the
wall
Take the bar supports and, after having put a
drop of thread-locker LOCTITE on the
threaded rod of the anchors, screw them on the
rods themselves (help yourself inserting a
screwdriver or a pin in the hole present on
support itself)
Screw-on the supports until the same are well
tight; then continue with the rotation till to
position the hole of the supports facing
downward
Take the RAIL bar and position it by matching
the fixing holes with those of the supports.
Slightly tighten the two screws in order to
center the bar on the supports themselves; then
tighten definitively the screws
