Product Description :
PEEP Valve indicated as an accessory to provide positive and expiratory pressure breathing capabilities to manual resuscitators.
Specification:
1. Adjustable range: 2-10 cmH
2. Adaptor: 3mm, 22/15mm outer dimension 22 mm and 30mm

Operation:
1. Attach the diverter to the patient’s outlet as showed in the drawing.
2. Turn the diverter toward the direction away from the patient or the emergency personnel’s position.
3. Compress the resuscitator a few times to make sure all functions are normal after assembly.
4. Choose the proper PEEP valve within the specification range. (2-10cmH2O or 5-20cmHO).
5. Turn the knob of the PEEP valve to the needed manometer indicated on the valve base.
6. As showed in the drawing, attach the PEEP valve to the diverter , conne ct the res us citator patient’s outlet to manometer and the breathing bag, press on the resuscitator for the air exchange motion of the breathing bag, and adjust for the proper PEEP valve pressure needed on the PEEP valve.
Caution:
Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician. This product should be used by trained personnel.
Storage:
Storage and transport temperature: -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to +60°C) Store the device in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight before use.
Cleaning:
1. Please disassemble the PEEP valve into the three components as above. (Please do not disassemble the VALVE Spring as disassembly will damage the parts.)
2. Please wash the three components thoroughly in warm water containing a mild detergent. Ensure that the detergent is compatible with the components materials to avoid causing damage.
3. Rinse all the components thoroughly in warm water to remove all traces of detergent.
Sterilization:
1. Autoclaved sterilization max (120℃/248℉)
2. Ethylene oxide
3. Common disinfecting solutions which are used for equipment coming into contact with the patient. Rinse thoroughly with water after this kind of sterilization.

Instruction for use
Visual inspection through package assembly:
1. After sterilization, wait until all parts are dry.
2. Inspect all components for wear or damage. Replace as necessary.
3. After assembling the PEEP valve, shall seal bag and record the sterilization date on the bag.
Test the PEEP valve as follows:
Connect the PEEP valve to the resuscitator using the flow diverter as illustrated in directions for use. Connect the resuscitator to a manometer and test lung. Ventilate the test lung to assure proper function of the PEEP valve.
