ENGLISH INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT: Single use filtering half-masks her e described are classified into three classes - FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3. Prior to use, chec k to which
class the half-mask belong to, according to EN149:2001+A12009 standard and check the appropriateness for the field of use.- the indication regarding
the class to which the product belong t o is reported on the packaging and on the half-mask. The deadlin e for a safe use of the item is reported on the
package.
APPLICATIONS: protection against particles, as well as agai nst solid and liquid aerosol (e.g. oil-mists)

Be careful to check the completeness of the mask prior to use it. If you notice laceration and/or stain, ask for a replacement.
NR symbol reported on the marking i ndicates that the half-mask is not reusable and mu st be discarded at the end of the shift or se ssion.
D symbol indicates that the mask p assed the clogging test performed with the use o f particles of dolomite.
The protection provided by an FFP3 or F FP2 filtering half-mask includes that provide d by FFP1 class.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Place a finger inside the half-mask. Bend the nose cl ip around the finger to confer to the shape the pro file of the nose.
2. While holding the half-mask in your hand,put on the inferior branch of t he elastic-band over the head behind the nape, and adjust the elastic-band
underneath the ears.
3. Take the upper branch of the elastic-band and place i t over the head, being careful to adjust the elast ic-band over the ears.
4. Using both hands, shape the nose clip (if on place) around nose and adjust the tension of the upper and lo wer portions of the elastic-strap by
means of the appropriate buckle w hen on place, or simply moving the strap in a comforta ble position so as to ensure a good adhesion to the face.
5. (a) To test fit for masks without exhalation valve: Cup both hands over the m ask as on picture 5 and exhale vigorously. (b) To test fit for masks
provided of exhalation valve: Cup both hands ov er the mask as on picture 5 and inhale sharply. If air flows from mask edge to the outside or if it
comes in from the edges, you shoul d re-position the mask over the face and if appropr iate tighten the strap when provided of buckle s.
6. Change the mask immediately if breathing becomes difficult or if the mask becomes damaged, or if there are p roblems of adhesion to the face.
Careful observance of these ins tructions is essential for a safe use of th e respirator.

If it is not possible to obtain an adequate adhesion of the mask to the face, do not enter on places of potential risk. / Failure to observe the
prescriptions reported on to this leaflet may lead to an inappropriate use of this PPE and consequently cause sickness or death. / A properly selected
mask is essential to protect your h ealth. Before using this PPE, consult an Industrial Hygienist or Occup ational Safety Professional to determine the
suitability for your intended use. / This p roduct does not supply oxygen. Use only in adequately ventil ated areas containing sufficient oxygen to support
life. Limits regarding oxygen content on air for a given field of use of these masks may vary form one country to another. We suggest to take as
reference the parameters defined in the nation of use. N evertheless, Eleco s.r.l. advise against the use of these PPEs in areas where oxygen
concentration is less than 19.5%. / Do not use when concentrations of contaminan ts are immediately dangerous to health or li fe. / Do not use in
explosive atmospheres. / Leave work area immed iately and return to fresh air if (a) breathing becomes difficult, or (b) dizziness or other distress
occurs. / Facial hairs or beards and certain respirat ory conditions and characteristics may reduce the effectiveness of thi s filtering half-masks. / Never
alter or modify this filtering half-mask in an y way. / Only for single use. No maintenance necessary. Discard the used half- mask after single use. /
Keep the half-masks which have not been u sed in their original package away from drect sunlight until us e. – The model identification code is reported
on the package of the product.
