FOREWORD
The purpose of this manual is to provide the Customer with all possible information on the ORTHOPAEDIC CALIPER, as well as the use and maintenance instructions to help maintain the performance and efficiency of the ORTHOPAEDIC CALIPER over time.
The user manual must be kept in good condition and stored in a place where it is accessible for quick reference.
INTENDED USE
The ORTHOPAEDIC CALIPER is an instrument used to measure the diameter or the length of the bones of the human body in cm, with a resolution of ± 1mm. Measurement range 0-150 mm, pitch 1 mm, tolerance ±5mm
The ORTHOPAEDIC CALIPER uses a slide system and consists of an anodised aluminium mm graduated rod and two plastic jaws.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Bring the caliper jaws close to the body part to be measured, sliding the mobile jaw until it is in contact with the bone, and read the value indicated on the graduated scale.

WARNINGS/MAINTENANCE
The ORTHOPAEDIC CALIPER must be used by qualied personnel only. Do not use the device if it is damaged. Do not repair it yourself; contact the manufacturer if necessary. After opening the packaging, check all the parts and components of the product.
Check that none are missing and that they are in perfect condition. The ORTHOPAEDIC CALIPER must be cleaned using a cloth dampened with substances that do not
damage aluminium (e.g. alcohol - glass cleaner). The BABY MEASURING ROD WITH CALIPERS is designed to last: it is resistant to most chemicals, except for methyl ethyl ketones (M.E.K.), thinners and nail polish removers.
The ORTHOPAEDIC CALIPER must always be stored in its box in a dry place.
