User Manual for alcohol tester with display
Note:
1) To ensure high precision readings, user should perform the auto-cleaning if unused for more than 2 weeks (especially for the rst time of using). User should start the auto-cleaning process by removing the batteries and power up again. The “AUTO CLEANING” indicator ashes. The 5-minutes auto cleaning starts and the display counts down. The alcohol tester will give few beep sounds at the last minute of auto cleaning. The analyzer will then turn off automatically after 1 minute and the cleaning process nishes. Before formal test, make sure no alcohol residues left by blowing fresh air into the gas inlet.
2) Please notice that pressing the ON/OFF key at any time can easily terminate the auto-cleaning process.
3) To achieve an accurate reading, user should ensure there is no alcohol residue inside the chamber before starting a new alcohol test. Users can pre-check the tester until the ‘0.00’ indication is shown on the display. This may be achieved by pressing START key once. Holding the BLOW key and blow fresh air into gas inlet for about few seconds. Alternatively, shaking the unit forwards and backwards several times will allow any alcohol residue to leave before starting a new alcohol test.
4) After any 4 consecutive tests, allow the device to rest for 2 minutes.
5) An error message “Err” ashes on the display for 5 seconds for the following improper operations:i. When user does not hold the BLOW key for at least 7 seconds during blowing until a beep sound is heard. ii. When user fails to start the test within 8 seconds after “READY” ashes.
6) When the product is unused, please store in a dry environment.
7) When low battery inductor ashes, the reading is not valid, please replace the batteries immediately.
8) If the difference between two successive reading >0.1‰, user should test again.
