• Proceed to apply the electrode to the patient as described in
the instructions supplied by the electrode manufacturer.
NB: make the connections with the equipment turned off.
• If it is not required for other use, leave the adapter inserted in
the cable-head even when the equipment is not in use.
• To effect the disconnection of the adapter from the cabl
h
ead, exert opposing tractive force between the adapter
cable shaft and the cable-head shaft to which the adapter is
connected.
WARNING
• The product is supplied non-sterile.
• Do not make connections or disconnection when the
equipment is turned on.
• The equipment for electro-stimulation and the electrodes
used with this device must all be compliant with the
regulations in force.
NB: Only ever use equipment designed for electro-
stimulation at low current intensity.
• The device must be connected and started up by qualified
personnel.
CLEANING
For cleaning detergent solutions (non-ionic surface-actives)
and disinfectant solutions (components with quaternary
ammonium of 0.1 - 0.2%) must be used. For the use of
these products follow the relative instructions. After
cleaning rinse under running water.
NB: Dry well before use.
LIFE OF PRODUCT
The life of the products depends on the number of uses and on
maintenance type. The products must be immediately destroyed
in case of deterioration of external insulation and connections
and/or oxidation of connectors or plugs.
NB: Snap connection models must be immediately destroyed in
case electrode doesn’t stick perfectly to cable connection.
STORAGE
The package must be stored at a temperature between 0°C and
50°C and relative humidity between 20% and 80%.

DESCRIPTION AND INDICATIONS
These articles have been designed to enable the adaptation of
electrode connector cables which, given the type of connection
they are equipped with, would not normally be compatible with
the basic equipment cables. The FIAB adapters can be used for
the connection of both disposable and multi-use electrodes to
equipment for electro-stimulation and for electro-cardiac
recording.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Carefully check packaging, cables and connection plugs. Do not
use the product in case of visible damages or defects.
• Having checked the compatibility of the connections, insert
the cable connector in the chosen adapter.
