Getting Started

NOTICE

Charge the SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S3
before first use.

• Insert the smaller part of the tablet holder, into one
of the five slots of the larger part according to the
inclination you need. According to your personal
comfort, you can choose one of the two tablet
holder positions below.

• Place the SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S3 on the tablet
holder and turn it on.

NOTICE

It is strongly recommended to install the
screen protector provided before use

NOTE

The tablet user manual is available
directly on the tablet.

• Launch PipettePilot application.

• Turn the environment sensor on by pressing gently
on the purple side. The LED will blink three times
to indicate that it is on.

When prompted by PipettePilot, connect
the environment sensor to the tablet using
the Bluetooth® connection. Once turned on
and connected, the environment sensor will
automatically begin monitoring temperature,
humidity, and pressure.

To turn off the environment sensor, press and hold
the purple side down for five seconds. The LED will
blink rapidly to indicate that it is turned off.

NOTICE

Pressing the button with excessive force
may damage the device.

NOTE

• When prompted by PipettePilot, remove the two

white strips from the microplate holder and then
place the microplate holder on the corresponding
frame on the tablet. If needed, use the microplate
adapter or the strip adapter.

• Follow PipettePilot instructions.

Prise en main

Avant d’utiliser la SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S3
pour la première fois, vous devez charger
la batterie.

• Insérez la plus petite partie du support de tablette
dans l’une des cinq fentes de la plus grande partie
en fonction de l’inclinaison souhaitée. Vous pouvez
insérer la plus petite partie soit en-dessous ou
au-dessus de la grande partie.

• Positionnez la SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S3 sur le
support de tablette et allumez-la.

Il est fortement recommandé d’installer
la protection d’écran avant la première
utilisation.

• Lancez l’application PipettePilot.

Allumez le capteur d’environnement en appuyant
doucement sur le côté violet. La LED clignote trois
fois pour indiquer qu’il est allumé.

Lorsque PipettePilot l’indiquera, connectez le
capteur d’environnement à la tablette via la
connexion Bluetooth®. Une fois allumé et connecté,
le capteur d’environnement commencera
automatiquement à mesurer la température,
l’humidité et la pression.

Pour éteindre le capteur d’environnement,
appuyez et maintenez le côté violet enfoncé
pendant cinq secondes. Le voyant clignote
rapidement pour indiquer qu’il est éteint.

Une pression excessive sur le bouton
risque d’endommager l’appareil.

Lorsque PipettePilot l’indiquera, retirez les deux
bandes blanches du support de microplaque
et placez-le sur le cadre correspondant sur la
tablette. Si nécessaire, utilisez l’adaptateur de
microplaque ou l’adaptateur de barrettes.

• Suivez les instructions de PipettePilot.

Warranty

Gilson warrants the devices against defects in material
under normal use and service for a period of 12 months
from the date of purchase.

This warranty shall not apply to devices which are
subject to abnormal use and/or improper or inadequate
maintenance (contrary to the recommendations
given in the user’s guide), including, but not limited to
device which have been subjected to physical damage,
improper handling, or spillage or exposure to any
corrosive environment. This warranty shall also be void
in the event devices are altered or modified by any
party other than its designates. Gilson’s sole liability
under this warranty shall be limited to, at Gilson’s
sole option, repair or replacement of any defective
components of the devices or refund of the purchase
price paid for such device.

THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE
AND GILSON HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER
WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF
