1. Make sure the gap between the door top rail and the
fram e hea der i s wit hin 2 m m.
2. Test the d oor o perator o n a s ing le sw ing d o or to s ee
if it wor ks. Che ck doub le swing door s to see if the
central l ine s on th e doo r fra me an d doo r lea f ali gn.
3. Ma rk t he c ent ral lin es on t he d oor and fra me where
the m agn et ass emb ly and armat ure assembly will be
install ed.
4. Atta ch th e tem pla tes t o the d oor a nd fr ame .
5. Cut and dril l holes whe re the temp lat es indicate.
Connect the wires. Install the ma gne t assem bly and
arma tur e assembly tow ard s the lead ing edge of the
door.
6. Con nec t to th e pow er an d che ck th e uni t.
A. For proper o per ati on, t he armature ass emb ly must
be cl ose an d parallel to th e magnet a sse mbl y, without
inte rfe rin g wi th o pen ing and closing o f th e do or. Keep
a dist anc e of 2 mm be tween the ar mat ure ass emb ly
and th e mag net a sse mbl y.
B. If the lo ck b olt at tracts the armature a sse mbl y
when the door is no t in position, plea se adju st the
door oper ato r and f loo r hin ges .
C. If ther e is no outp ut from the b ond se nso r, p lea se
remo ve sec ond ary d iod e installed ac ros s the magn et
asse mbl y. Als o ad jus t th e su rfa ces of t he magnet and
the ar mat ure a sse mbl y.
