Key Switch

Statement

Key Switches are installed in se cu re l oc at io ns o ut si de w ir ed , in p ar al lel or series with the power supply
and the electromagnetic lock. If the electromagnetic lock ca nn ot be opened due to failure of the p ro xi mi ty
reader or other incidents, the user ca n switch between no rm al ly closed (N.C.) and normally open (N.O.)
contacts by the key, forcing the door to open. This acts as a backup to access control systems.
