The EB190 elect ric dropbolt is the upgrade d version of E B180. The 25mm-wide faceplate is designe d f or insta llation on virtu ally all types of doors and frames. The bolt st atus switch sensor and d oor position status senso r have been added to the lock. The rectangular-sha ped ( EB195) and arc-sha ped (EB190) faceplat es are u sed to suit the different users' habits of ins tallations.

Vandal Resistant Circuitry
Th e v and al resistant cir cuitry me ans the door sen sor ca n't be fooled into pro jec tin g t he ele ctr ic dropbolt unless the do or is act ual ly c los ed. The reed sensor a uto mat ica lly dis con nec ts after the bolt is projected to enhance security of the lock.
The unique intelligent logic cir cui t i n GEM's electric dropbolts keeps the bolt retracted until the door is properly closed. Th is feature e nsu res the b olt will not extend if th e door is improperly aligned.
Energy Sa ving Design
After t he dropbolt is com ple tel y loc ked , t he cu rre nt draw changes from 0.9A to 0.15A to prolong its life.
