Statement
The EB400 electric dropbolt is design ed for
surface mount application and this lock's housing
is made of sta inless steel. Other functions are the
same as EB220.

Vandal Resistant Circuitry

sensor can't be fooled into projecting the electric dropbolt
unless the d oo r i s a ct ua ll y c lo se d. Th e r ee d s en so r
au tom atically di sco nnects after the bolt is proje cte d to
enhance security of the lock.

E B40 0 Electric dro pbo lt is specially de sig ned for us e on
double swinging doo rs. Th ey can also be installed on both
outswing and inswing doors.

Auto-detective circuitry
The unique i nte lli gen t logic c irc uit in GEM's electric
dropbolts keeps the bolt retracted until the door is properly
closed. Th is feature e nsu res the b olt will not extend if th e door
is improperly aligned.

life. The solenoid is guaranteed 500,000 times of operations.
Energy Saving Design
After the dro pbo lt is completely lo cke d, th e current draw
changes from 0.9A to 0.3A to prolong its life.
