Statement
Th e EB26 2 elec tric d ropbolt has a log ic cir cuitr y. Th e
positioning ba ll abo ve the dr opb olt keeps the bolt retracted
while the do or is n ot lo cke d on strike plate until the door closed
properly. T his des ign is for security purpose, which solves the
problem of improper door positioning.

Vandal Resistant
Th e van dal resistant cir cui try m ean s the door position
sensor can't be fooled into projecting the electric dropbolt
unless t he door i s a ct ua ll y cl os ed . T he reed s en so r
au tom atically disconne cts af ter th e bolt is projecte d to
enhance security of the lock.
Auto-detective circuitry
T he unique intelligent logic circuit i n GEM's electric
dropbolts keeps the bolt retracted until the door is properly
closed. Th is feature e nsu res the b olt will not extend if th e door
is improperly aligned.

EB262 Electric Dropbolt
Horizontal or vertical installation
GEM's el ect ric dropbolts can be installed e ith er horizontally
at the top or bot tom of the doo r frame or ver tic all y on the si de
of the door frame.

Adjustable Sensor
The do or position sensor ca n detect within a range of
5mm. If the doo r gap is to o wid e, a ma gne t within the strike
plate of the door can be adju ste d t o i mpr ove d ete cti on
accuracy.
Relock Time Delay
Adj ust abl e Ti me Del ay of 0,3,6,9 seconds with 2 wa y D IP
switch. (Default Value: 0 sec.)

Long life solenoids
The s pec ial designed solenoid aim s f or strength an d l ong
life. The solenoid is guaranteed 500,000 times of operations.
Energy Saving Design
After the dro pbo lt is completely lo cke d, th e current draw
changes from 0.9A to 0.3A to prolong its life.

Positioning Ball
Positioning Bal l is ins tal led to pr eve nt the ch anc e of
locking damage caused by the imp rop er door pos iti oni ng. It
also helps the doo r al ign with the drop bo lt and reduce the
automatic relock time of dropbolt when the door is closed.
