Thank you for your purchase of Interwire. Interwire provides robust, efficient, and convenient interfaces between your guitar, effect stompboxes, and your amps. No matter how complex your effect chain is and however you wish to position the pedals in the pedalboard, Interwire keeps the interconnects simple and straightforward by organizing all input/ output and send/return cables to terminate at only a single interconnection point. This enables you to maintain a well-organized and easy to setup pedalboard environment; saving your time, energy, and focus, to what really matters : your music.

DUAL CONFIGURATION
Interwire has 2 switchable internal wiring configuration, one is intended for setup that places all effects before the amp’s input (see illustration on page 3), and the other one is intended for setup that places effects before the amp’s input and inside the amp’s FX-loop (see illustration on page 4).

Switching between the two configurations is automatic, Interwire senses whether a cable is present or not at the connector labeled ‘RETURN’ on the AMP side, and configures the internal wiring accordingly. These two configurations allow you to achieve various setup schemes easily, without having to alter your pedalboard wiring.

Place all the pedals that you want to put before the amp’s input in FXL I, and place all the pedals (usually delay, re-
verb, and modulation) that you want to put inside the amps FX-loop in FXL II.

This is the setup to use if you wish to place all your pedals before the amp’s input (not using the amps’ FX-loop) -
simply disconnect the cables from the amp’s send / return path and Interwire will automatically reconfigure its inter-
nal wiring - there’s no need to alter your pedalboard wiring!

2 Outputs Possible?
There’s another setup variation that you can use to obtain two outputs from Interwire, but this variation can only be used if you do not use the amp’s FX-loop. This two-outputs setup allows a myriad of setup possibilities, such as :
Stereo Output (see page 6).
Dry / Wet Outputs (see page 6).
Electric / Simulated Acoustic Outputs (see page 7).

What About 3 Outputs?
Yes, It’s in fact possible to get 3 outputs from Interwire! The internal connection between SEND (FXL II side) and SEND (AMP side) is bi-directional, i.e. signals can pass in either direction.
One possible scenario where you would need 3 output channels is when implementing the Wet / Dry / Wet setup. The ‘wet’ signals are output signals of some effect processors, while the ‘dry’ signal is the unprocessed signal. You can use a scheme similar to the one shown on page 6 to implement this setup (see page 8).
