Fachmann, unter Berücksichtigung der
landesüblichen Installationsvorschriften
spannungsfreien Zustand gearbeitet werden, dazu
unbedingt die Stromkreissicherung abschalten.

Umbauen und/oder verändern des Produktes nicht
gestattet.
Montage
Wenn Sie sich bei der Montage, Anschluss und
Installation nicht sicher sind bzw. Zweifel über die
Funktionsweise haben, lassen Sie die Installation
durch eine Fachkraft ausführen.
Die Außeneinheit ist für die Aufputzmontage
vorgesehen. Wählen Sie den Montageort so, dass Sie
nach Möglichkeit nicht direkten Umwelteinflüssen,
wie z. B. Regen, ausgesetzt ist und vermeiden Sie
direkt einstrahlendes Gegenlicht. Beachten Sie
die Angaben zur optimalen Kameraposition und
Ausrichtung (Abb. H).
Ö nen Sie am Außengerät vorsichtig die Abdeckung
(Abb. G1) mit einem 3 mm-Schlitzschraubendreher
und lösen Sie die Schraube (Abb. G2). Die Schraube
ist gegen Herausfallen gesichert und lässt sich nicht
komplett herausnehmen. Ziehen Sie das Gerät an
der Unterseite nach vorne (Abb. G3).
Montieren Sie das Aufputzgehäuse gemäß Abb. G4.
Die Kameraausrichtung kann durch Verschieben
des Führungsstiftes verändert werden (Abb. B7).
Nach erfolgtem Anschluss setzen Sie das Gerät
zuerst oben in das Aufputzgehäuse (Abb. G5).

Die beiden Führungen des Gerätes müssen
in die entsprechenden Auskerbungen des
Aufputzgehäuses fassen. Dann drücken Sie das
Gerät unten in das Aufputzgehäuse, bis es an
allen Seiten bündig mit der Kante abschließt
(Abb. G6). Drehen Sie die Schraube (Abb. G2) ein
und schließen Sie die Abdeckung (Abb. G7).
Die Ladeschale (Abb. C) für das mobile Innengerät
kann wahlweise an einer Wand montiert
(Abb. J1) oder mittels Tischständer (Abb. D)
aufgestellt werden. Die Ladeschale rastet in den
Tischständer (Abb. J2) ein.
Anschluss Außengerät
Als Spannungsversorgung für das Außengerät
empfehlen wir den GEV System-Netztrafo CNV
7505. Sollte ein vorhandener Klingeltrafo verwendet
werden, bitte den zugelassenen Spannungsbereich
von 8 V - 16 V, 50 Hz beachten, da das Produkt
ansonsten zerstört wird. Schließen Sie die
Spannungsversorgung an die Schraubklemmen
(Abb. B10) an. Als alternative Spannungsversorgung
können 6 AA Batterien verwendet werden
(1,5 V Lithium oder Alkaline). Schonen Sie die
Umwelt - verwenden Sie den GEV System-Netztrafo!
Anschluss mobiles Innengerät mit
Bildschirm
Ö nen Sie das Akku-Fach (Abb. A17) und legen
den Akku ein. Stecken Sie den Akku-Stecker
(Abb. F1) in die Buchse für die Spannungsversorgung (Abb. A20). Ist der Akku geladen,
erscheint das GEV-Logo kurz auf dem Bildschirm.
Schließen Sie das Akku-Fach.
Anschluss Ladeschale
Stecken Sie den Stecker des Netzgerätes
(Abb. E1) in die Buchse für die Spannungsversorgung
(Abb. C2) und das Netzgerät in eine Steckdose.
Führen Sie das Kabel des Netzgerätes durch den
Schlitz der Kabel-Zugentlastung (Abb. C3).
Inbetriebnahme
Vor der Inbetriebnahme muss das mobile Innengerät
ca. 8 Std. in der Ladeschale (Abb. C) geladen
werden, die Trenntaste leuchtet rot (Abb. A7).
Werkseitig sind das mobile Innengerät und
das Außengerät aufeinander programmiert und
können sofort nach betätigen der Klingeltaste
(Abb. B5) verwendet werden. Sollte dies durch
z. B. Austausch einer Komponente nicht der Fall
sein, betätigen Sie kurz die Programmiertaste
(Abb. B8) des Außengerätes. Die ProgrammierLED blinkt für 30 Sek. (Abb. B6). Innerhalb dieser
Zeit muss die Programmiertaste (Abb. A19) des
mobilen Innengerätes kurz gedrückt werden. Die
Programmier-LED erlischt und es ertönen 5 kurze
Pieptöne.
Die GEV Funk-Video-Türsprechanlage ist
betriebsbereit.
Allgemeine Einstellungen
Datum/Uhrzeit:
Wiedergabetaste (Abb. A10) ca. 3 Sek. gedrückt
halten, Datum/Uhrzeit erscheint mittig auf dem
Bildschirm. Hoch-/Runtertasten zum Ändern der
farbig markierten Werte (Abb. A9/A12).
Wiedergabetaste (Abb. A10) führt zum nächsten
Wert, Abschluss durch Trenntaste (Abb. A7).

Klingel-Lautstärke:
Hoch-/Runtertasten mehrmals betätigen (Abb. A9/
A12).
Helligkeit:
Helligkeitstaste mehrmals betätigen (Abb. A13).
Bildspeicher:
Die Anzahl der Bilder 1-3, die bei Betätigung der
Klingeltaste gespeichert werden, lässt sich wie
folgt ändern: Bildspeichertaste (Abb. A8) ca. 3
Sek. gedrückt halten, Zi ern 1 - 2 - 3 erscheinen
mittig auf dem Bildschirm, Hoch-/Runtertasten zum
Ändern der farbig markierten Werte (Abb. A9/A12).
Abschluss durch Trenntaste (Abb. A7).
Bildspeicher löschen:
Bildspeichertaste (Abb. A8) und Trenntaste (Abb.
A7) ca. 5 Sek. gedrückt halten. Auf dem Bildschirm
wird „No Images“ angezeigt.
Bedienung
Grundsätzlich befi ndet sich das mobile Innengerät
im Stromsparmodus, wenn für ca. 10 Sek. keine
Taste betätigt wurde. Der Bildschirm ist dunkel und
keine Taste leuchtet.
Wird die Klingeltaste (Abb. B5) betätigt, ertönt
am mobilen Innengerät der Klingelton in der zuvor
eingestellten Lautstärke. Die Sprech- und Trenntaste
blinken und ein bewegtes Kamerabild des
Außengerätes wird ca. 10 Sek. auf dem Bildschirm
(Abb. A1) angezeigt. Eine Sprechverbindung besteht
nicht. Automatisch werden Kamerabilder in der
zuvor eingestellten Anzahl gespeichert. Danach wird
das Kamerabild ca. 150 Sek. eingefroren angezeigt.
Folgende Möglichkeiten bestehen:
1. Sprechverbindung für ca. 60 Sek. durch
betätigen der Sprechtaste (Abb. A6). Die Sprechund Trenntaste leuchten für die Dauer der
Sprechverbindung. Nach ca. 60 Sek. wird die
Sprechverbindung automatisch getrennt.
2. Anruf abweisen durch Betätigung der
Trenntaste (Abb. A7). Das Kamerabild erlischt und
nach ca. 10 Sek. schaltet das mobile Innengerät in
den Stromsparmodus. Die Beleuchtung der Sprechund Trenntaste erlischt ebenfalls.
3. Wird keine Taste betätigt, schaltet das mobile
Innengerät ca. 160 Sek. nach Betätigung der
Klingeltaste in den Stromsparmodus.
Die Wiedergabetaste (Abb. A10) blinkt, nachdem
das Innengerät wieder in den Stromsparmodus
geschaltet hat und zeigt dadurch an, dass neue
Bilder gespeichert wurden.
Wiedergabe gespeicherter Bilder
Betätigen Sie die Wiedergabetaste (Abb. A10).
Das Blinken der Trenntaste erlischt und das
zuletzt gespeicherte Bild wird auf dem Bildschirm
gezeigt. Durch mehrmaliges Betätigen der Hoch-/
Runtertasten (Abb. A9/A12) wird durch die
gespeicherten Bilder geblättert.
Überwachung Außenbereich
Sie können den Außenbereich für ca. 60 Sek. durch
Betätigung der Überwachungstaste (Abb. A11)
observieren. Die Sprech- und Trenntaste blinken
und ein bewegtes Kamerabild des Außengerätes
wird auf dem Bildschirm angezeigt. Eine
Sprechverbindung besteht nur von außen nach
innen. Eine Sprechverbindung in beide Richtungen
kann bei Bedarf durch Betätigung der Sprechtaste
(Abb. A6) aufgebaut werden. Nach ca. 60 Sek. wird
die Überwachung automatisch beendet und das
mobile Innengerät schaltet in den Stromsparmodus.

Installation
If in any doubt, rather than mounting, connecting or
installing the equipment yourself, contact a qualifi ed
technician.
The outdoor unit is designed for surface mounting.
When deciding where to install the unit, ensure,
where possible, that it cannot be directly a ected by
environmental factors such as rain, and avoid direct
glare from backlighting. Refer to the information
about the optimal camera position and alignment
(Fig. H).
Carefully open the cover on the outdoor device
(Fig. G1) using a 3 mm screwdriver, and loosen the
screw (Fig. G2). The screw cannot be completely
removed as it is secured against falling out. Pull the
underside of the device forwards (Fig. G3).
Install the surface-mount housing according to
Fig. G4.
Align the camera by adjusting the guide pin (Fig. B7)
After you have successfully connected the device,
fi rst fi t the top of the device into the surface-mount
housing (Fig. G5). The two device guides should
slot into the corresponding notches on the surfacemount housing. Then press the bottom of the device
into the service-mount housing until it fi ts fl ush

against the edge on all sides (Fig. G6). Turn the
screw (Fig. G2) and shut the cover (Fig. G7).
The charger (Fig. C) for the mobile indoor
unit can either be mounted on a wall
(Fig. J1) or stood upright using the table stand
(Fig. D). The charger clicks into the table stand
(Fig. J2).
Connecting the outdoor unit
For the outdoor unit power supply we recommend
that you use the GEV system mains transformer
CNV 7505. If using an existing bell transformer,
please observe the approved voltage range of
8 V - 16 V, 50 Hz, as the product will otherwise be
damaged. Connect the power supply to the screw
connectors (Fig. B10). 6 AA batteries (1.5 V lithium
or alcaline) can be used as an alternative power
supply. Protect the environment - use the GEV
system mains transformer.
Connecting the mobile indoor unit with
screen
Open the battery compartment (Fig. A17) and
insert the battery. Connect the battery connector
(Fig. F1) to the power supply connector (Fig.
A20). If the battery is fully charged, the GEV logo
will briefl y appear on the screen. Close the battery
compartment.
Connecting the charger
Connect the power pack connector
(Fig. E1) to the power supply connector
(Fig. C2) and plug the power pack into a socket.
Feed the power pack cable through the cable
release slot (Fig. C3).
Activation
Before operating the device, the mobile indoor unit
must be charged for approx. 8 hours in the charger
(Fig. C), the end call button lights up red (Fig. A7).
The mobile indoor device and outdoor device are
programmed to one another by default and can
be used immediately after pressing the doorbell
(Fig. B5). If this is not the case, e.g. a component
has been replaced, briefl y press the programming
button (Fig. B8) on the outdoor device. The
programming LED fl ashes for 30 seconds (Fig. B6).
Briefl y press the programming button (Fig. A19)
on the mobile indoor device during this time. The
programming LED goes out and 5 short beeps are
emitted.
The GEV wireless video door intercom system is
ready for operation.
General settings
Date/time:
Press and hold the replay button (Fig. A10) for
approx. 3 seconds, the date/time appears in the
centre of the screen. Press the up/down button to
change the coloured values (Fig. A9/A12).
Press the replay button (Fig. A10) to go to the next
value, exit by pressing the end call button (Fig. A7).
Ring tone volume:
Press the up/down buttons several times
(Fig. A9/A12).
Brightness:
Press the brightness button several times
(Fig. A13).
Image memory:
You can change the number of images 1-3 that will
be stored when the doorbell is pressed as follows:
Press and hold the image memory button (Fig. A8)
for approx. 3 seconds, digits 1 - 2 - 3 appear in the
centre of the screen, press the up/down buttons to
change the coloured values (Fig. A9/A12).
Exit by pressing the end call button (Fig. A7).
Deleting the image memory:
Press and hold the image memory button
(Fig. A8) and the end call button (Fig. A7) for
approx. 5 seconds. "No Images" will be displayed
on the screen.
Use
In principle, the mobile indoor device switches to
power save mode if no buttons are pressed for
approx. 10 seconds. The screen is dark and no
buttons light up.
If the doorbell (Fig. B5) is pressed, the mobile
indoor device emits an audible signal at the preset
volume level. The talk and end call buttons fl ash and
a moving camera image from the outdoor device
will be displayed on the screen (Fig. A1) for approx.
10 seconds. There is no intercom connection. The
preset number of camera images are automatically
stored. After that a frozen camera image will be
displayed for approx. 150 seconds.
You have the following possibilities:
1. Intercom connection for approx. 60 seconds
by pressing the talk button (Fig. A6). The talk
and end call buttons light up during the intercom
connection. After approx. 60 seconds the intercom
connection will automatically disconnect.
2. Refuse the call by pressing the end call button
(Fig. A7). The camera image disappears and after
10 seconds, the mobile indoor device switches to
power save mode. The talk and end call button
lighting also goes out.
3. If no button is pressed, the mobile indoor
device will switch to power save mode for approx.
160 seconds after the doorbell has been pressed.
The replay button (Fig. A10) fl ashes after the indoor
device has switched back to power save mode,
indicating that new images are being stored.
Replaying stored images
Press the replay button (Fig. A10). The end call
button stops fl ashing and the last stored image is
displayed on the screen. Press the up/down button
several times (Fig. A9/A12) to browse through the
stored images.
Monitoring the outdoor area
You can monitor the outdoor area for approx.
60 seconds by pressing the monitoring button
(Fig. A11) . The talk and end call buttons fl ash
and a moving camera image of the outdoor area
is displayed on the screen. One-way intercom
connection exists (from outdoors to indoors). If
necessary, press the talk button (Fig. A6) to enable
two-way intercom connection. After approx. 60
seconds, monitoring fi nishes automatically and the
mobile indoor unit switches to power save mode.

Battery and rechargeable battery information
Old batteries may not be disposed of with the
unsorted household waste. Owners of used
batteries are legally obliged to recycle the
batteries and can return them free of charge to the
place of sale. Batteries contain material which is
harmful to the environment and health, and must
therefore be disposed of professionally.

L‘installation de ce produit doit
impérativement être effectuée par
un spécialiste et conformément aux
électrique doit obligatoirement être coupée (fusible
secteur déconnecté) pendant toute la durée de
l‘installation. Le câble d‘alimentation ne doit être
soumis à aucune tension. La garantie ne couvre en
aucun cas les dommages dus à un non-respect de
la présente notice. Nous déclinons par ailleurs toute
responsabilité quant aux éventuels dommages
indirects. De même, nous ne pourrons en aucun cas
être tenus responsables des éventuels dommages

modifi cation du produit sont interdits.
Montage
Si vous avez des hésitations sur le montage, le
raccordement ou l’installation du système ou le
moindre doute sur son fonctionnement, adressezvous à un spécialiste.
L’unité extérieure est prévue pour un montage
encastré. Choisissez son emplacement de sorte à
éviter autant que possible une exposition directe
aux intempéries (à la pluie, p. ex.) ainsi qu’un
contre-jour direct. Veillez à respecter les indications
relatives au positionnement et à l’orientation de la
caméra (fi g. H).
Ouvrez délicatement le cache de l’unité extérieure
(fi g. G1) à l’aide d’un tournevis pour vis à fente de
3 mm puis desserrez la vis (fi g. G2). Pour éviter
qu’elle ne tombe, la vis est sécurisée et ne peut être
totalement retirée. Tirez le bas de l’appareil vers
l’avant (fi g. G3).
Installez le boîtier apparent selon la fi g. G4.
L’orientation de la caméra peut être modifi ée en
décalant l’axe de guidage (fi g. B7).
Une fois le raccordement e ectué, introduisez le
haut de l’appareil dans le boîtier apparent (fi g. G5).
