Overview

The Network Management System (NMS) is
designed to be implemented on a Web-base
environment and a private LAN (Etherent) is
employed as the system network. The system
administrators and authorized security
professionals can have access to their fiber optic
security system operation from any network
computer.
The software is an innovative password protected
remote monitoring system that allows instant
verification of the status of a DF digital video
system. It is compatible with all standard web
browsers.

Alarm Features

Alarms can be instantly evaluated and operator
can react accordingly. Alarm Information includes
time, slot ID, module name, channel name and
event description. Description includes module
undetected, status of video, optical loss,
temperature, contact closure and signal
verification. Alert are divide into 2 Level, using
different background color to show in the log.

Panel Controls and Indicators

The front panel contains LEDs for network status
and a RESET switch. Reset the NETC by using
‘RESET’. The back panel contains LEDs
for network status and a FD switch. Reset the
NETC to factory default settings by using
‘FD’.

Client Machine Requirements

A PC can connect to the NMS if it meets the
following minimum requirements:

• Network: One network interface card
operating at 10/100 Mbits/s

• Operating Systems: Windows XP, Windows
Vista and Windows 7

• Web Browsers: IE6, 7 and 8
