Sentrol’s 6250 SureShot™ Series passive infrared detector is an advanced PIR designed for excellent
detection while offering increased immunity to RFI,
vibration, static, stray light, rapid temperature changes,
and other false alarm sources.
The detector utilizes a dual pyroelectric sensor. It also
features a sequence processor that combines bi-direc-
tional pulse counting and motion verification; the most
sophisticated signal processing available. An opaque,
high resolution Fresnel lens focuses the infrared energy
on the pyroelectric sensor while blocking stray or
reflected light. The unit features four masking plates to
easily select the following patterns of coverage: 360°
ceiling mount, wide angle, pet alley, vertical barrier and
single spot. All these patterns are available with the
standard lens. The unit is shielded against RF interfer-
ence and the pyro is fully sealed from drafts, bugs and
dust.
Mounting flexibility is achieved by simply unsnapping
the circuit board assembly and mounting the back case
directly to wall, corner or ceiling.
The 6250 SureShot™ Series has an attractive case
molded from fire-retardant ABS plastic. A built-in cover
slides over the LED and provides a surface for private
labelling. It incorporates a custom Applications Specific
Integrated Circuit (ASIC) on a compact SMD board for
highest reliability.
