Generaldescription
Thelatestproducedrangeofwallgasboilersisdesignedasanappliancewithmaximum effectivityandminimumemissionsintoatmosphere,savingenvironmentconsiderably.The outputisregulatedsmoothly,controlledbymicroprocessorinboththemodes(hotwater mode,heatingmode)inalltheoutputrangeofboilersandismodifiedtoabuildingby heatinglossandrequestforhotwater.Hightechnicallevelofboilersissupportedbyused topcomponentsfromworldproducers.

Purposeofuse:
ThetyperangeofATTACKwallboilers(turboandflueversion)isproducedwith modulatedoutputof8-24kW.Theyareusedforheatingorcentralheatingoffamily houses,flats,shopsandsimilarplaceswherenaturalgasisusedasfuel.Theboilerisalso equippedwithadeviceforwaterheating. Astoinstallation,theboilerisbuilttooperatewithheatingwatertomaximumhydrostatic pressureof0,3Mpa(3bar)andoperatingtemperatureto85°Cwiththeconnectionto heatingsystemswithforcedflowofheatingwaterinaclosedsystem.Thewaterinthe heatingsystemmustsuittoSTN077401(itmustnotbesourinanycase,whichmeansthat thepH-valuemustbehigherthan7anditmusthaveminimumcarbonatehardness,max. 3,5mval/l).Fillingpressureincoldsystemisof11,5bar.Fillingmustbedoneslowlyto letairbubblesescapethroughproperdeareatingvalves.Foradjustingthewaterhardnessin theheatingsystemitisnecessarytouserecommendedagents.

Installationconditions:
Agasboilercanbeinstalledonlybyacompanyauthorizedtocarrythisworksonthebase ofapproveddocumentationofaprojectantwhilerespectingadviceandnotesinthis manual.Beforeinstallationtheinstallingcompanyisobligedtochecktherightchoiceof theboilertypewithregardtothefunctionalattributesandrequiredparametres.Theboiler hasacoveringofelectricpartsIP41thatisresistentagainstwaterdroppingvertically. Thereforeitcanbeinstalledinbathroomsinzone3(inthedistanceof60cmfromtheedge ofthebathorshowercorner).Theroomwheretheboilerislocatedmusthavethe temperatureintherangeof+5to+35°Cwithrelativehumidityto80%.
Itisnotallowedtoplacethingsclosetotheboiler,inthedistanceof:

-200mmthingsfromeasy-inflammablematerials
Thefirstputtingintooperationandtrainingoftheboileroperatorsmustbedonebya contractservicepartneroftheproducerthatmakesregularmaintenanceaswellas guaranteeandpost-guaranteeserviceoftheboiler.Tothesupplygaspiping,ahandygas valvemustbeinstalledbeforetheboilerwhichmustbeapproachablebutisnotapartofthe boileraccessories.Connectingtheboilertotheheatingsystemisthroughscrewjoints G3/4“.HotwateraswellasgasinletisconnectedthroughscrewjointsG3/4“.Before installingtheboileritisnecessarytomakesurethatthechosenplacefitstorequirements forwastegasescapeandthatminimumdistancesbeforementionedarekept.Asthisboiler isfast-heating,equippedwithitsownpump,itispossibletoconnectitwithgravity circulationaswellastoanewsystemforforcedwatercircualtionintheheatingsystem.In thecaseofnewdistributionswerecommendtousesmall-volumeheatingbodiesand distributionsinthesmallestdimensionsbecauseoffastheatingofthesystemtothe temperatureaswellasbigflexibilityofthesystem.Connectingtheboilertotheheating systemandtothegasandhotwaterdistributionisnecessarytocarryoutsoasnottostrain

dismountingandcleaningtheinsidepartsoftheboiler.Theboilercanbeoperatedonlyby anadult.Afterleavinghomeinwinter(onholiday...)asupervisionbyatrainedpersonis needed.Ifthereisadangerofapproachofinflammable(combustible)gasesorfumestothe boiler(e.g.whenlyingaPVCflooring),itmustbeputoutofactionearly.Theuseris obligedtotakecareofproperuseoftheboileraccordingtothisinstructionwhichisalsoa conditiontoacknowledgeguarantee.Whenputtingtheboilertooperation,theservice workermustinstructtheuseraboutboileroperating.

Technicaldescription
Fast-heatingwallboilersATTACKNST,NSKareequippedwithcopperheat-exchangers protectedonsurfacewithsiliconecoatingonthebaseofaluminium,resistentto430°C. Theseareexchangerswithseparatedsystemstowarmuphotwaterandheatingwater.A bigadventageofthisexchangerisplaceandweightsaving.Maximumoperationpressure forheatingcircleis300kPa(3bar)by85°C,forhot-watercircle600kPa(6bar)by60°C. Minimumoperationpressureis100kPa(1bar).Theheat-exchangerislocatedintheupper partofcombustionchamberandisfittedwithanautomaticdeareatingvalve,whichleads overclosingchamber.Forminimumlosesduringheattransmissionitisnecessarytokeep thesurfaceofheat-exchangerlamellasclean. Thesourceofheatisagasburnerofmodernunit-builtdesignmadefromstainlesssteel.It islocatedinthebottompartofcombustionchamber.Therearetwoelectrodesintheburner. Oneofthemisasparkingitionelectrode,anotherisainonizationprobeforburning control.Combustionchamberismadefromaluminium-coatedsteelplatewithinside thermalinsulation.Overthecombustionchamber(NST)isawaste-gascollectorwithafan forwaste-gasdraw.Withthehelpofsiliconetubesisthefanconnectedtoaswitchof differentialpressure(manostat).Intheflueversion(NSK)thereisadrawbreakerwitha waste-gasthermostat.Intheupperpartoftheexchangertherearethermalprobesfor heatingandhot-watersystem.Theinsidewaterpipingintheboilerismadefromcopper pipes.Closingchamberoftheboiler(NST)ismadefromaluminium-coatedsteelplate. Openingsintheclosingchamberaresealedwithsiliconeseal.Onhotwaterinletthereisa water-passagesensorinstalled.Fast-heatingwallboilersATTACKNSTandNSKare equippedwithautomaticsandcontinuousregulationofoutput.
Thecontrolcentreforcontrollingboileroperationisamodulationelectronicboard equippedwithamicroprocessor.Sensorstateandvalueisscoredbysoftwarewhichalso givesorderstoactiveelementsgasvalve,ignitionelectronics,circulationpump.Onthe insidedistributionofheatingwateroutletthereisanemergencythermostat,pressureswitch andpressuregaugesignallingthepressureintheheatingpiping. Inthecasethetemperatureofoutgoingheatingwaterovercomes95°C,theemergency thermostatputstheboilerinemergencyconditionfollowingbyputtingitoutofoperation. Inthecasethepressureintheheatingsystemfallsunder1bar,thepressureswitchputsthe boileroutofoperation.Ininsidedistributionofheatingwaterinletthereisa3-bar-safety valveandacirculationpump.Inthebridgingofhotwaterinletandheatingwaterinlet thereisaballvalveservingforfillingtheheatingsystemfromthedistributionnet.Inthe rearpartoftheboilerthereisan8-literexpansiontankconnectedwiththepump.Outside caseistreatedwithdustpaintwiththermalenduranceupto180°C.

However,thebreakdownsthecauseofwhichisnotincludedintheboilermechanism, cannotbeprotectedtoarise.Thereforeitisnecessaryafterputtingtheboilertooperationto examinetheboileronceinthreedaysandcheck: –whetherthesystemisfilledwithwaterandthereisnodischarge –whetherwastegasesorgascannotbesmelled

Maintenance

Aserviceworkercheckscontrolandsafetyelementsoftheboiler,gasandwater distributionsealingorcleanstheburnerandexchangerfromburntdustparticles.For faultlessoperationofheatingsystemitisnecessarytocheckregularlythepressureofwater inheatingsystem(min.1bar,measuredwhenthewateriscold).Inthecaseoflower pressureitisnecessarytorefillwaterintocoldheatingsystem.Theoutsidecoatofthe boilercanbecleanedwitharagsoakedinsoapywaterandthendriedwithadryone.
Wrapping,transport,storing
Boilersaretransportedinverticalposition.Topreventpossibledamage,theyareprotected byacartonwrapping.Thewrappingissecuredbyanadhesivetape.Theboilermustbe
storedinnon-aggressivespacewiththetemperatureof+5upto+50°Cinmaximum relativehumidityofairof75%,withoutpresenceoforganicsteams,gasesanddust.

ATTACKboilersserveforheatingsystemswithforcedcirculation.Rateofwaterflowcan besetbytheswitchonthepump.Beforefillingtheheatingsystemwithwater,itis necessarytocleanthesystemproperly.Heatersanddistributionmustbewashedseveral times.Forthoroughwashingandcleaningtheheatingsystemwerecommendtouse cleaningagents.Ontheinletfromheatingsystemandhotwatertoboilers,filtersmustbe mounted.Werecommendbrassfilterswithsidecleaning.Thefiltersmustbecleanedonce ayearminimally.Maintenanceoftheboileriseasierwhenontheinletaswellasonthe outletofheatingthereisavalve.Inthehot-watercircuit,thevalveisrecommendedto mountintheinlettotheboilerbeforethefilter.Filtersandballvalvesarenotdeliveredas boileraccessories.Cloggedfilterscancausehighernoisinessofboilers.Outletfromsafety valveisnecessarytoconnecttodischargepiping.

Connectingboilerstogaspipeline
Beforeconnectingaboilertothegaspipeline,thepipelinemustbetestedandadjusted. Afterconnectingtoaboiler,allthegasconnectorsmustbetested,includingpipingand fittingsintheboiler.Boltedconnectionsofthegaspipelineaswellasthoseofthewater pipingandheatingwaterpipingmustnotbestressedbyanyadditionalforce.
Connectingaspatialthermostat(regulator)
Aspatialthermostatisnotapartofboileraccessoriesbutitcanbeconnectedintoaboiler bytherequestofacustomer.Voltageforswitchcontactsofthespatialthermostatis24V. Connectingofthespatialthermostatintotheboilerisillustratedontheconnectionchart.
Connectingterminalsforthethermostatare interconnectedbyajumper.Afterconnectingthespatialthermostattotheterminalsthe jumperistoberemoved.

circuitstops.Startingoutput(setupbyresistancetrimerP5)iskeptafterburningtheboilerin thetimeoftwoseconds.ThentheboileroutputiscontrolledbyPIDregulationbythe passageandtemperatureofhotwatertoreachthesettemperatureassoonaspossible.When thewaterpassagedropsunder2.5l/min,theoperationphaseofhotwatermodefinishes.If thesetuptemperatureintheheatingmodeisover55°Cbythepassageofhotwaterof3 l/min,thistemperaturewillbelimitedto50°Ctopreventincrustationintheheatexchanger. Iftheoutlettemperatureofhotwaterreaches70°C,theburnerisoff.Afterfinishingthe requestforhotwaterthepumpstartsworkingtolimitincrustation.Run-outtimeofthepump changesfrom0.4to2secondsdependingonthetemperatureintheheatingcircuitinthetime ofrequestforhotwater.Inthecaseofparallelrequeststhehotwatermodeispreferredto

Heatingmode
Operationphaseintheheatingmodestartswhenaspatialthermostatputsarequestforheat andtheoperationswitch(P1potentiometerontheboard)isintheposition.Thepump andventilatorareactivatedandafterverifyingairflow,theburnercontrolunitisactivated. Startingoutputiskeptinthetimeoftwosecondsafterburningtheboiler.Thentheboiler outputiscontrolledbyPIDregulationuntilthesettemperatureforcentralheatingisreached. Inthecasethewaterovercomesthesetvaluein5°C,theburnerisoff.Theburnerisreignited bythetemperature5°Clowerthansetvalueuntiltheanti-fastcyclingtimeisover.Theanti­fastcyclingfunctionisoveruntilthecontactsoftheroomthermostatarebrokenand switched.WhentheJP4jumperissettoONposition,therangeoftemperaturesisloweredto valuessuitableforfloorheating.

After24hoursofnotworkingthepumpisactivatedto150s.Afterbreakingelectrical supply,thefirstcycleofanti-blocking-pumpfunctionstartsafter3hoursofnotworking.
Anti-freezingfunction
Ifathermalsensoroftheheatingcirculationfindsadecreaseoftemperatureofunder6°C, thepumpisactivatedandburnerstartswithminimumoutput.Thislastsuntilthe25°C temperatureisreachedandthentheanti-freezingfunctionstopsworking.Thisfunctionis activeevenwhentheoperationswitchisinSUMMERpositionandinemergencymode (stand-by).Ifthereisafailureintheboiler,onlypumpisactivated.
Controlofventilator,airflowandwastegas(NSTversion)
Ifthereisarequestforignition,burningautomaticsatfirstteststheconditionofmanostat. Ifitisinastillposition,burningautomaticsswitchesthewastegasexhaustventilator.Ifthe ventilatorisoperatingandtheexhaustisclear,themanostatswitchesintoworkingposition andtheboilerisburned.Differencepressuremustbeover80Pa. Aftereachblowingouttheventilatorkeepsworking20secondsmore.

Inthisversion,ifthereisarequestforheat,theburnercontrolunitisactivatedafter activatingthepumpandverifyingthewaterpassage.Inthecaseoffailure(rising temperaturebecauseofwrongwastegasexhaust)thewastegasthermostatbreakscontacts, theburnerblowsoutandafailureissignalled.Reignitionisnotpossiblefor30minutes. Thistimeperiodcanbecleared(reset)withtheoperationswitch.
Servicetestingfunctions
Ifthisfunctionischosen,theboilerstartsworkingintheheatingmodetothemaximum outputoftheburnerandmaximumtemperatureoftheheatingwater(80°C).Theburneris offafterreachingthemaximumswitch-offtemperature(85°C).Ifthereisarequestforhot water,thisfunctionisinterruptedandtherequestispostponed.Thisfunctioncanlast15 minutesmaximallyandthenitisnecessarytoswitchtheoperationswitchtosomeofother functionsandthenbacktothisfunction.
