How to use:
This product is for household use only.
GETTING STARTED
• Remove all packing material and, if applicable, any stickers from the product; remove and save literature.
• For additional information go to www.georgeforemancooking.com.
• Go to www.prodprotect.com/applica to register your warranty.
• Wash plate in hot, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
Note: Although the plate is dishwasher-safe, we recommend hand washing to
preserve its appearance.
ATTACHING THE GRIDDLE PLATE Important: Your grill should always be used with
two plates securely attached. Always attach the grill top plate when using the griddle plate.

USING YOUR GRIDDLE PLATE
1. Plug in the grill and press the power button to turn on.
2. Set your desired cooking temperature and allow grill to preheat for at least 5 minutes.
3. Using a pot holder, carefully open the preheated grill.
4. Place food to be cooked on the griddle plate.
Note: Do not overload the cooking plate.
5. Close the grill cover.
Important: Do not leave the appliance unattended during use.
6. Set the countdown timer to cook for your desired time. A signal will sound once cooking is complete.
7. Using a pot holder, carefully open the grill cover.
8. When finished cooking, remove food from the griddle plate using a plastic spatula or another non-metallic utensil.
Note: Always use heatproof plastic, silicone or wood utensils to avoid
scratching the nonstick surface. Never use metal skewers, tongs, forks or knives.
9. Press the power button and unplug to turn the grill off.
