In the late 1950’s, Robert F. Williams had the
idea of utilizing plastics for plumbing systems
that could be installed by individuals who may
not possess any plumbing skills. As a result of the
innovative idea came the creation of Genova.
Williams’ background as a licensed master
plumber made him an expert in the eld of
plastics. His extensive knowledge made him
eminently qualied to dispel the mysteries of
plumbing to the average homeowner. Williams’
goal was to make home plumbing something
homeowners could easily do themselves.
Since that early beginning, complete lines of
Genova pipe and ttings have been developed by
the senior Willams and his son, R.M. Williams,
current Genova chairman who is also a licensed
master plumber.
Mr. Williams was able to see his goal achieved
before he died in 1992. Vinyl plumbing is not
only easy to install, but the pure virgin vinyl
utilized in Genova products lasts longer and
works better than other plumbing systems. The
company has continued to diversify into other
labor saving products, such as vinyl raingutters,
fencing, decking, railing and lattice.
Genova has grown from the idea of a single
entrepreneur into a dedicated group of people
committed to serving the needs of do-ityourselfers everywhere and those dealers who
serve them. The corporate motto is “The
People Who Get It Done!” and every employee
is committed to the pursuit of that goal.

Tubular products are made of polypropylene and are used for drainage applications
from the xture to the drain pipe.
100 SERIES
• Polypropylene is heat and chemical resistant and outperforms metal
and plastic alternatives.
• Install Tubular products using slip joints, do not solvent weld.
• Use silicone sealant and plumber’s putty on all slip jamnut washer connections.
• All Tubular parts come merchandised in colored bags with installation
instructions and bar code.
• Refer to the 700 and 800 series product lines for Sch. 40 PVC and ABS traps
and trap adapters.

Schedule 40 is used in applications, such as irrigation, underground residential
sprinkler systems, water service pipe, deionized water lines, swimming pool
installations, and some chemical drainage systems. Sch. 80 ttings are used
with chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, chemical
