Tools Required:

Observe and Obey:

 This procedure shall be completed by a

person trained and qualified on the repair of
this machine.

 Immediately tag and remove from service a

damaged or malfunctioning machine.

 Repair any machine damage or malfunction

before operating the machine.

Before Starting Installation:

 Read, understand and obey the safety rules

and operating instructions in the appropriate
operator's manual.

 Be sure that all necessary tools and parts are

available and ready for use.

 Read this procedure completely and adhere to

the instructions. Attempting shortcuts may
produce hazardous conditions.

Installation / Operating Instructions

Truss Boom Attachment
Installation:

1 Remove the quick attach lock pin.

2 Tilt the truss boom forward to pivot the quick

attach connector back.

3 Position the boom so that the quick attach pin

on the boom is below and centered between
the hooks on the truss boom.

5 Tilt the truss boom back to pivot the quick

attach into the truss boom.

6 Insert the quick attach pin all the way through

the truss boom and be sure the quick attach
lock lever is secured in the notch on the pin.

4 Raise the boom until the pin secured in the

hooks on the truss boom.

Bodily injury hazard. When the
pivot pin is removed, the upper
pivot can shift. Keep hands clear
of moving parts while the
pin is being removed.

Bodily injury hazard. This
procedure requires specific repair
skills. Attempting this procedure
without the specific skills could
result in death or serious injury.

Component damage hazard.
Do not overtighten the fasteners.
Over tightening the fasteners
can damage the square tubes.

Installation / Operating Instructions

Adjusting the Truss Boom:

1 Remove lock pin from the Truss Boom

structure.

2 Extend the telescopic boom.

3 Insert the lock pin through the truss boom at

1 Pull the yellow roller down/back and forks will

tilt up.

Instructions:

1 Pull the yellow roller down/back and forks will

tilt up.

1 yellow roller

2 Push the yellow roller up/forward and the forks

will tilt down.

1 yellow roller

1 Push the auxiliary hydraulics thumb rocker to

the left and the carriage will move to the left.

1 auxiliary hydraulics thumb rocker

2 Push the auxiliary hydraulics thumb rocker to

the right and the carriage will move to the
right.

1 auxiliary hydraulics thumb rocker

Installation / Operating Instructions

Bucket Attachment Installation:

1 Remove the quick attach lock pin.

2 Tilt the bucket forward to pivot the quick attach

connector back.

3 Position the boom so that the quick attach pin

on the boom is below and centered between
the hooks on the bucket.

5 Tilt the bucket back to pivot the quick attach

into the bucket.

6 Insert the quick attach pin all the way through

the bucket and be sure the quick attach lock
lever is secured in the notch on the pin.

4 Raise the boom until the pin secured in the

hooks on the bucket.
