The IP Camera must act as a DHCP client for “Plug and Play”
Encoding
Type
CBR
CBR is recommended because of the internal buffer strategy of the NVRX
Series
Resolution
1280x720
The maximum performance of the NVRX Series is 1080p@192fps or
720p@400fps.
To increase frame rate, lower the resolution to 1280x720
Frame
Rate
25fps
The maximum performance of the NVRX Series is 720p@400fps
Therefore 25fps per channel is recommended (25fps x 16=400fps)
Bit Rate
2Mbps
The maximum throughput of the NVRX Series is 40Mbps
Therefore 2Mbps per channel is recommended (2 x 16=32Mbps)
Sub
Stream
CIF
512Kbps
For Dual Streaming, the sub stream should be turned on
And, for proper streaming through the WAN connection,
CIF@512Kbps or a lower bitrate per channel is recommended
The NVRX Series features a "Plug and Play" function with a POE Switch.
The “Plug and Play” functionality requires the IP Camera to be in DHCP mode.
The NVRX automatically assigns an IP Address to the IP Camera (10.20.30.11 ~
10.20.30.254).
The NVRX models automatically map the camera on the POE Port to the corresponding
NVR channel number.
With the NVRX Models, DO NOT connect a router to the POE Ports to connect an IP
Camera. The NVRX will not be able to find and connect to the camera. The LAN Port
can be connected to a router, but not the POE Ports.
16
2-6 Non POE Port Setup
2.6.1 Connecting the Camera
The NVRX Series features a "Plug and Play" function (on board POE Switch included)
Setting up cameras can be done through the Quick Installation menu
2-7 IP Camera SETUP (Through Web Viewer Page)
The NVRX allows remote access to the IP Cameras through an "IP Camera Setup" menu.
The PC Web Client features the "IP Camera Setup" menu that can be accessed remotely.

address of the NVRX can be found in the system information.
2-8 Dual Streaming
High Quality (Main Profile) Video Stream is used for both Recording and Live Display.
