The Guitar Controller is for use as a guitar controller only. Care must be

SETTING UP AND CONNECTING
YOUR GUITAR CONTROLLER
SETTING UP YOUR GUITAR CONTROLLER
Your Guitar Controller runs approximately 40
hours on just three AA size batteries. Unscrew
the battery cover on the back of your guitar and
insert the batteries as shown.
CONNECTING YOUR GUITAR CONTROLLER
The Guitar Controller is a 2.4 GHz wireless controller that connects to a
PlayStation. 2 or PlayStation. 3 via a detachable receiver.
The receiver has 2 available connections:
. PlayStation. 2 controller port connector
. USB connector for PlayStation. 3 consoles
The receiver comes ready to plug in to a PlayStation. 2 controller port.
To connect the receiver to a USB port, attach the provided USB adaptor as
shown below. Now simply plug the receiver in to the appropriate
PlayStation. 2 or USB port. The receiver draws its own power directly
from the device, and automatically finds your Guitar Controller. No
additional physical setup is required.

To ensure optimal performance from your Gene Simmons AXE Guitar
Controller, please follow the below guidelines.
Do not stand on your Guitar Controller. .
. Do not expose the Guitar Controller to any liquids.
. Do not leave your Guitar Controller in a dusty or humid environment.
. Do not expose your Guitar Controller to extreme conditions, including
direct sunlight or excessive heat.
. Do not try to modify, fix or disassemble your Guitar Controller. There
are no user serviceable parts and doing so will void your warranty.
. Only use a dry cloth to clean the Guitar Controller, no water or chemicals.
. Always remove batteries during transport of the device or when not in
use for long periods of time.
. We recommend the use of fresh AA size alkaline batteries.
. Insert batteries to correct (+) and (-) polarities.
. Always replace a complete set of batteries. Do not mix old and new, different
types or rechargeable batteries of different capacity.
. When the equipment is not being used for a prolonged period of time, the
batteries should be removed.
. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the equipment.
. Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
. Children should always be supervised when changing batteries.
. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the equipment before
being charged.
. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

WARRANTY
The limited warranty set forth below is given by Hip Street. (“Hip Street”) with respect to the Hip
Street brand product (the “product”) that you have purchased, when purchased and used in Canada
or USA. The product that you have purchased is the only product to which this limited warranty
provided by Hip Street applies.
Your product, when delivered to you in new condition in its original container, is warranted
against defects in materials or workmanship as follows: for a period of 60 days from the date
of original purchase or a defective product returned to a Hip Street repair facility or a Hip Street
Authorized Service Facility (“ASF”) for such product, as applicable, and determined to be
defective
upon inspection, will be exchanged for new or refurbished product, as determined by the ASF.
Warranty
repair or replacement shall not extend the original warranty period of the defective product.
This limited warranty does not cover any supplies or accessories.
Proof of purchase that is a copy of the invoice or receipt to evidence the date of purchase will
have to be provided to claim under the warranty.
This limited warranty shall only apply if the product is used in conjunction with compatible
equipment
and compatible software, as to which items Hip Street shall have no responsibility.
This limited warranty covers all defects encountered in normal use of the product, and does
not apply in the following cases: (a) Loss of or damage to the product due to abuse, mishandling,
improper packaging by you, alteration, accident, electrical current fluctuations, failure to follow
operating, maintenance or environmental instructions prescribed in Hip Street’s instruction
manual,
or service performed by other than a Hip Street repair facility or an ASF. (b) Use of parts or
supplies
(other than those sold by Hip Street) that cause damage to the product or cause abnormally
frequent service calls or service problems. (c) If the product has had its serial number or dating or
identification marks altered or removed. Any physical damage will void warranty unless specified
otherwise.
NO IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, APPLIES TO THE PRODUCT AFTER EXPIRY OF THE
