production of fine sporting, touring, and pacesetting racing machines. It represents the high degree of
craftsmanship and reliability that have made a leader in these fields.
This manual will give you an understanding of the operation, inspection, and basic maintenance of this
scooter. If you have any questions concerning the operation or maintenance of your scooter, please
consult a dealer.
The design and manufacture of this scooter fully comply with the emissions standards for clean air
applicable at the date of manufacture. We have met these standards without reducing the performance
or economy of operation of the scooter. To maintain these high standards, it is important that you and
your dealer pay close attention to the recommended maintenance schedules and operating instructions
contained within this manual.

Here are some guidelines to
follow if loading cargo or adding
accessories to your scooter:
Loading
The total weight of the operator,
passenger, accessories and
cargo must not exceed the
maximum load limit.
When loading within this weight
limit, keep the following in mind:

scooter as possible. Make
sure to distribute the
weight as evenly as
possible on both sides of

imbalance or instability.

Gasoline and exhaust gas

time, please check the coolant bottle.

Low beam indicator comes on when
low beam headlight is on.
The indicator will be flashing against
the position when right turn signal is on.
(7) Fuel Indicator
Indicate oil capacity in fuel tank (The
main switch at “

about 1 liter and please add unleaded
RQ-90 or above.

Indicate driving speed of vehicle, km/h

Don’t use other fuses not fitted the
required specification or lead such as
the brass wires to replace. Otherwise it
may cause serious negative effects
to the circuit system, even cause fire,
lamp failure, loss of engine power.
WAR NING:
Catalytic converter
This model is equipped with 2 catalytic
converters in the exhaust system. One is
inside the muffler, the other is joined with
the outlet pipe outside.

Start the motorcycle
1. Inspect engine oil capacity by oil gauge,
check the gasoline volume and coolant.
Add fuel if insufficiency.
2. Open the main stand and make the rear
wheel leave the ground.
3. Insert key and spin to “ON”, turn ignition
switch to position ’
‘. And the side
stand is closed.
4. Apply front or rear brake lever to
connect the power for starting when using
electric start.
5.When engine is cool, especially in winter,
turn ignition switch to position “
”, slightly
turn the throttle grip and press the electric
starter button for five more or less times to
start the engine. Accelerate slowly for one
to three minutes and drive after
thermometer needle indicating to mark C
or above. If the thermometer needle can’t
indicate to mark C please contact the local
dealer or service.
6. Open ignition switch and use electric
start when engine is warm. The vehicle will
be started successfully because of using
advanced electromagnetism start
carburetor.
CAUTION:
Don’t leave engine operating
excessively without driving; the engine
components may be damaged by idling
for a long period as for high temperature.
Starting off
(1) Close the main stand or side
stand
Push the vehicle forwards then the
main stand will be self-back automatically.
Turn the vehicle upright when only the
side stand parking and the side stand will
be self-back to the original position. Get on
from the left side and let left leg touch the
ground after sit up for stable.
WAR NING:
Start the engine in an unsuitable way may
cause dangerous. Once start the engine
with setting refueling, the motorcycle
could rush forward, if the main stand did
not open. So please open the main stand
before started the engine. Only when the
engine in idling, the main stand could be
closed. All in all before driving, do not
increase the throttle in order to avoid the
accident, and dangerous.
Don’t start engine in the unventilated
space. Because the toxic carbon
monoxide gas is poisonous. The engine
should be turn off, if no person around for
operation.
WAR NING:
Before driving, check the location of side
stand carefully .If the side stand is not in
the closed position, the side stand may
touch ground and result loss of balance,
and causing dangerous when turning
left.
CAUTION:
Carefully after motorcycle started and
before driving off, the braking condition
should be maintained.

Before started, look around and confirm
that is safe for driving.
Acceleration and deceleration
The speed can be adjusted by opening
and closing the throttle. To increase the
speed, turn the throttle grip in direction (a).
To reduce the speed, turn the throttle grip
in direction (b).
Engine break-in
There is never a more important period in
the life of your engine than the period
between 0 and 1000 km. For this reason,
you should read the following specification
carefully.
Since the engine is brand new, do not put
an excessive load on it for the first 1000
km . The various parts in the engine wear
and polish themselves to the correct
operating clearances.
During this period, prolonged full-throttle
operation or any condition that might result
in engine overheating must be avoided.
0 ~ 150 km
Avoid prolonged operation above 1/3
throttle. Vary the speed of the scooter from
time to time. Do not operate it at one set
throttle position.
150 ~ 500 km
Avoid prolonged operation above 1/2
throttle.
500 ~ 1000 km
Avoid cruising speeds in excess of 3/4
throttle.
1000 km and beyond
Avoid prolonged full throttle operation.
Vary speeds occasionally.
WAR NING:
After releasing the brake lever, can not
accelerate the engine arbitrary. The
vehicle will rush out suddenly to cause
accidents.

Braking
1. Close the throttle completely.
2. Apply both front and rear brakes
simultaneously while gradually increasing
the pressure.
Parking
When close to the parking lot: please
open turn indicator, observe rearview
mirror, and pay attention to the past
vehicles with deceleration slowly. Close
throttle, and then apply front and rear
brakes, meanwhile the brake lamps turn
on for warning vehicles behind.
Parking:
Close turn indicator, and pull the switch to
position “
” .
Put main stand in the flat ground, without
impeding traffic, or the vehicle overturned
easily on uneven ground.
Seize the handlebar with the left hand, and
grasp rear luggage rack with right hand,
and then step on the main stand as well as
pull the vehicle towards backward with
right hand.
After the vehicle is parked, please lock
steering, remove keys to prevent
accidents.
CAUTION:
If any engine trouble should occur
during the engine break-in period,
immediately have a dealer check the
vehicle.
WAR NING:
Avoid braking hard or suddenly
(especially when leaning over to
one side), otherwise the scooter
may skid or overturn.
Railroad crossings, street-car
rails, iron plates on road
construction sites, and manhole
covers become extremely slippery
when wet. Therefore, slow down
when approaching such areas
and cross them with caution
Keep in mind that braking on a wet
road is much more difficult.
Ride slowly down a hill, as braking
downhill can be very difficult.
CAUTION:
After 1000 km of operation, the final
transmission oil must be changed.

ATTENTION:
If you cannot determine the
breakdown, please contact with the
sales promptly, because they have the
best technology and the corresponding
special-purpose tool, and could
provide the best service for you.
Specially, when your motorcycle is in
the warranty period please do not
begin to disassemble on motorcycle's
spare part, this will affect the
maintenance basis.
CAUSTION:
Never park in an area where there are
fire hazards such as grass or other
flammable materials.
WAR NING:
Since the engine and exhaust
system can become very hot, park
in a place where pedestrians or
children are not likely to touch
them.
Do not park on a slope or on soft
ground, otherwise the vehicle may
overturn.
WAR NING:
Do not enable the spark plug to
approach the spark plug hole that at
the forehead of the air cylinder or
close to fuel oil tank, , because the
fuel oil steam can ignite, which may
cause the fire danger.

Fuel tank check and refill
Make sure that there is sufficient fuel in the
fuel tank.
When fuel level gauge indicator is close to
the red inked ribbon, the fuel effective
remaining quantity probably is 1.0 liters in
the fuel tank, please refill unleaded RQ- 90

Check, replace or refill engine oil
To choose high quality oil and replace oil
regularly is very important to prolong the
life of the engine. Checking the oil level
everyday and replacing oil regularly are
the essential work of the maintenance
items.
Please check oil gauge regularly and
add or replace oil according the limits.
Start engine and run in idle speed several
minutes, then stop engine and wait for one
minute to inspect:
Open the main stand, and take out the
oil level gauge to wipe or clean making it
dry;
Reinsert oil level gauge, don’t screw it;
Take out oil level gauge and check it, the
oil level should be between the upper and
lower limits;
After the 1000 km traveling, filter the oil.
If the oil maintained clean, the vehicle can
be driven within 5000 km within one year
since produced;
Engine oil capacity is 1L and
exchanging capacity is 0.8L;
The oil capacity can’t less than the
minimum level position;
When vehicle driving in dusty, cold and
poor road conditions, the oil deteriorate
easily. Please replace the oil early.
Please use the SF-class or exceed for
the high-level, high-performance engine
oil.

CAUTION:
Check engine oil level often during
driving and supply it in time. When tilt
parked or on the slopes, the
measurement of oil is not correct.

Adjusting the free play of front
and rear brake
To ensure safe riding, please perform the
following inspection before operation of
unit.
The free play of front brake is 10-20mm.
The free play of rear brake is 10-20mm.
“Free play” is defined as range of travel
before engagement of brakes. Lever/pedal
should have proper free play and move
freely throughout entire range of travel.
Brake power regularly
Drive on the dry road, decelerate and
check the front and rear brake power is ok
or not. Adjust to the best brake capacity.
Brake fluid
Insufficient brake fluid may allow air to
enter the brake system, possibly causing it
to become ineffective.
Before riding, check that the break fluid is
above the minimum level mark and refill it
if necessary. Low position brake fluid level
may indicate worn brake pads and/ or
brake system leakage. If the brake fluid
level is low, be sure to check the brake
pads for wear and the brake system for
leakage.
Observe these precautions:
• When checking the fluid level,
make sure that the top of the master
cylinder is level by turning the handlebars.
• Use only the recommended quality brake
fluid, otherwise the rubber seals may
deteriorate, causing leakage and poor
braking performance.
• Refill with the same type of brake fluid.
Mixing fluids may result in a harmful
chemical reaction and lead to poor braking
performance.
• Be careful that water does not enter the
master cylinder when refilling. Water will
significantly lower the boiling point of the
fluid and may result in vapor lock.
• Brake fluid may deteriorate painted
surfaces or plastic parts. Always clean up
spilled fluid immediately.
• As the brake pads wear, it is normal for
the brake fluid level to gradually go down.
However, if the brake fluid level goes down
suddenly, have a dealer check.

Brake pad
Check the brake pads whether wear to the
limit indicator mark or not. If reach to the
limit indicator mark, should replace it in
time to maintain the best braking
performance.
If the braking system or brake pads need
to repair, we strongly advise you leave the
work done by the distribution.
Disc brake system is a high-pressure
brake. For security, hydraulic tube should
be replaced once every four years; the
brake fluid should be replaced every two
years.
Do not drive immediately, after the brake
pad just replaced. Hold and release the
brake lever several times to recover the
normal extension of the hold hands, and
the brake fluid cycl
e stably. At the same
time, drive in low speed then brake to
make it meet the performance
requirement.

main stand, removing the front mask on

plug, fill coolant to the sub water tank
slowly and the water level should near to

coolant, hold up the main stand, removing
the big cover grid (follow drawing icon 1),
removing the water inlet fixed bolt

and injecting coolant to the radiator
(recommend to use the filler to add water).
When add coolant, please screw the
calorstat bolt down, in order to the gas
inside can be fully discharged (screw the
bolt on after injecting water). When add
coolant for the expansion water canteen,
the water should reach to at least icon “H”
scale. After that, fix components in reverse
order.

Clean the Scooter

combination with water, carry out the
following steps after each ride in the rain,
near the sea or on salt sprayed roads.
1. Clean the scooter with cold water and a
mild detergent after the engine has cooled
down.
2. Apply a corrosion protection spray on
all metal, including chrome-plated and
nickel-plated, surfaces to prevent
corrosion.
CAUTION:
Do not use warm water since it
increases the corrosive action of the
salt.
NOTE:
Consult a dealer for advice on what
products to use.
WARNING:
Make sure that there is no oil or wax
on the brakes or tires. If necessary,
clean the brake discs and brake linings
with a regular brake disc cleaner and
wash the tires with warm water and a
mild detergent.

Short-term
Always store your scooter in a cool, dry
place and, if necessary, protect it against
dust with a scooter cover
Please store the scooter in a well

To prevent corrosion, avoid damp
cellars, stables (because of the
presence of ammonia) and areas where
strong chemicals are stored.
Long-term
Before storing your scooter for several
months:
1. Follow all the instructions in the “Clean”
section of this chapter.
2. Drain out the fuel from the carburetor
float chamber by loosening the drain bolt.
It will prevent fuel deposits and cause
the hard engine start afterward. Pour the
drained fuel into the fuel tank.
3. Fill up the fuel tank and add fuel
stabilizer (if available) to prevent the fuel
tank from rusting and the fuel from
deteriorating.
4. Perform the following steps to protect
the cylinder, piston rings, etc. from
corrosion.
a. Remove the spark plug cap and
spark plug.
b. Pour a teaspoonful of engine oil into
the spark plug bore.
c. Install the spark plug cap onto the
spark plug, and then place the spark
plug on the cylinder head so that the
electrodes are grounded. (This will limit
sparking during the next step.)
d. Turn the engine over several times
with the starter. (This will coat the
cylinder wall with oil.)
e. Remove the spark plug cap from the
spark plug, and then install the spark
plug and the spark plug cap.
5. Lubricate all control cables and the
pivoting points of all levers and pedals
as well as of the side stand/ main
stand.
6. Check and, if necessary, correct the tire
air pressure, and then lift the scooter so
that both of its wheels are off the ground.
Alternatively, turn the wheels a little
every month in order to prevent the
tires from becoming degraded in one
spot.
7. Cover the muffler outlet with a plastic
bag to prevent moisture from entering
it.
8. Remove the battery and fully
charge it. Store it in a cool, dry place
and charge it once a month. Do not
store the battery in an excessively cold
or warm place [less than 0 °C (30 °F) or
more than 30 °C (90 °F)].

Information on warranty claim
Please carefully read the instruction manual of your vehicle before operating it in order to make yourself familiar with its handling. We explicitly point out
that the instruction, maintenance, and care instructions given in the operating manual have to be complied with in order to sustain your claim towards
warranty. Only the strict compliance with customer specifications stated in the instruction manual ensures the prolonging of the natural life of your vehicle. Starting with the date of the invoice a limited warranty of 24 months is granted regarding the accuracy of the vehicle in terms of material and manufacturing according to latest standards. The legal warranty regulations will not be restricted by this limited guarantee. Maintenance work has to be exclusively done by authorized workshops entitled by us. Warranty in general is bound to the region of invoicing and can therefore only be carried out within
the country the vehicle was bought. Damages that can be traced back to inappropriate usage, manipulation, or neglecting of the
maintenance/care/operating instructions will not be covered by warranty. Warranty can only be granted if occurring damages are immediately being
reported to the seller or any other authorized workshop by the buyer. The warranty claim entitles the buyer to remedy deficiencies or to the reparation
respectively the exchange of a damaged part in an authorized workshop after our approval. Compensation for remote or instantaneous damages cannot
be granted. Vehicles in desolate condition will not be covered by warranty. Repair works carried out on warranty do not enlarge the guarantee period.
Only this document entitles you to call on warranty services. Therefore please make sure that you are delivered this fully filled in document by the seller
and that he has registered your vehicle correctly in our system. Please also mind the following advices.
Body and panelling of the vehicle have to be kept free of dirt constantly. Do not use high pressure water blasters, strong jets of water, sharp and corrosive or other aggressive detergents which could harm surfaces and varnish permanently and foster corrosion. It is vital to use protecting cleansers.
Please consult our dealers for the right and appropriate products. Aluminium parts or other refined parts (chrome parts, anodized parts or other
processed surfaces)have to be treated with appropriate maintenance products in order to prevent oxidation. Frame and metal parts are continuously to
be treated with anticorrosive. A vehicle constantly parked outside has to be covered to avoid weathering and crack formations on seat and plastic parts.
Vehicles used off-road and for racing purposes are excluded from warranty.
Material which is to be used in the context of service and maintenance works are excluded from warranty as well as the following parts: incandescent
bulbs, brake pads, clutch lining, filter elements, spark plugs, drive sprocket, wheel and axle., as well as the tires.
With my signature I confirm that I have closely read, I do fully understand and accept the warranty guidelines stated in this document. The advices in
the owner’s and instruction manual were explained to me. After the pre delivery inspection the vehicle was given to me in a more perfect technical condition according to the manufacturer’s indications.
With the signation of this document I confirm to accept the maintenance and service intervals valid on delivery of the vehicle even if they differ from the
intervals mentioned in the user’s manual. A currently valid version of the service manual has been handed over to me.
