USING THE MOISTURE METER

Insert probe into soil to root level. Do not push the probe too near to the stem. Note the reading.

INTERPRETING THE MOISTURE READING

Each plant in the chart has a predetermined watering number. For the plant you are testing, water only when the reading from the tester is the same as or lower than the watering number.

TESTER CARE

The probe should not be left in the compost or in contact with moisture for longer than is required to take the reading. Always wipe the probe clean and dry after each reading with a soft cloth or tissue.

UTILISATION DE L'HUMIDIMÈTRE

Insérez la sonde dans le sol jusqu'au niveau des racines. Ne poussez pas la sonde trop près de la tige de la plante. Notez la lecture.

INTERPRÉTER LA LECTURE D'HUMIDITÉ

Chaque plante dans le tableau a un numéro prédéterminé pour l'arrosage. Pour la plante que vous testez, arrosez uniquement si la lecture du mètre est la même ou plus basse que le numéro dans le tableau.

SOINS À PRENDRE POUR LES TESTS

La sonde ne doit pas être laissée dans le compost ou en contact avec l'humidité plus longtemps qu'il ne faut pour prendre une lecture. Essuyez toujours la sonde avec un linge doux ou un tissu pour la nettoyer et la sécher après usage.

USO DEL MEDIDOR DE HUMEDAD

Inserte la sonda en la tierra hasta el nivel de las raíces. No acerque la sonda demasiado al tallo. Lea la medición.

INTERPRETACIÓN DE LA MEDIDA DE HUMEDAD

Cada planta en esta cartilla indica un nivel de humedad predeterminado. Riegue la planta sólo cuando la medición del probador sea igual o menor al número de humedad indicado.

CUIDADO DEL MEDIDOR

La sonda no debe dejarse insertada en la tierra ni en contacto con la humedad por más tiempo del requerido para hacer la medición. Siempre limpie y seque la sonda con un trapo suave después de cada medición.
