A600FC AND B600FC
HIGH-TEMPERATURE
THERMO-HYGROMETER
USER’S MANUAL
Please read this manual carefully and thoroughly before using this product.
Thank you for purchasing a General Tools & Instruments’ (General’s) High-temperature Thermo-hygrometer.
The A600FC and B600FC measure temperature and relative humidity (RH) and display both readings in analog form on the same dial. The larger temperature readout consists of two concentric scales calibrated in °F and °C.
There is only one difference between the two instruments: the A600FC has a stainless steel case and the B600FC has a brass case. The back of each case has a hanger hole. The flange of the case provides three holes for permanent mounting using screws.
For accurate measurements:
• NEVER expose the instrument to sun or rain. The case is not waterproof, so rain would permanently damage the unit.
• Do not mount the instrument on a wall that is ever exposed to direct sunlight.
• Do not mount it in a windy location—such as in the path of an air conditioner’s exhaust registers.
• Allow 30 minutes for the humidity readout to stabilize after mounting the instrument or any change in the ambient environment.
