Operating Instructions
General’s Uni-Stand supports your hand-held drain cleaner while you’re working in tight spaces under kitchen and bathroom sink cabinets. It fits the Super-Vee®, Power-Vee®, Handylectric® and BD Drain Gun. It fits many competitive hand-held drain cleaners as well.

Read, understand and follow all safety warnings and in­structions provided with your drain cleaning machine. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may re­sult in electric shock and/or serious injury. Save all warn­ings and instructions for future reference.

ASSEMBLY:
1. Open the clamp by lifting the locking buckle.
2. Push and hold receptor where indicated to open
and fully release the strap.
3. Close the locking buckle.
4. Lay the drain cleaning machine on its side on a flat surface. Place the Uni-Stand onto the drill housing.
Note: You may prefer to mount the Uni-Stand on top of the motor housing (as shown here) so that your machine operates upside down. This offers easier access to the trig­ger switch during opera­tion.
5. Wrap the strap around the drill and slide it into the
receptor until snug.
6. Release the locking buckle and push the strap into the receptor an additional 2-3 clicks, then close the locking buckle firmly to clamp the Uni-Stand se­curely into place.

7. Turn the knob counter-clockwise to release the
leg. Push/pull the leg to adjust it to the height you need to work comfortably. Then, turning the knob clockwise to secure the leg in position.
OPERATION:
1. Place your machine within one foot of the drain
opening.
4. Squeeze the trigger and rock the machine forward
as the cable spins into the line.
5. Slide the Grip Shield forward to release the Snake
Grippers (or rotate the chuck to release the cable) and rock the machine back.
2. Slide the cable into the drain as far as it will go.
3. If you are using the Super-Vee, pull back on the
Grip Shield to engage the Snake Grippers. If you are using the Handylectric or BD Drain Gun, turn the chuck to lock or release the cable.

6. Repeat rocking the machine forward and back as you feed the cable into the line.
Note: If you are using the Power-Vee, position the machine within 6 inches of the drain opening. Pull the trigger, then squeeze the feed lever to feed the cable into the line. When you meet an obstruc­tion, rock your machine forward and back as you work though the stoppage.
