TheMUSEDICOMGatewayProsystemisasoftware-onlyutilitythatenablesGE HealthcaredevicestoreceiveordersfromDICOMModalityWorklistServiceClass ProvidersystemsandsendpatientECGteststoDICOMStorageServiceClassProvider systems.CompatibleGEHealthcarecardiographsexchangedatawiththesystem,and thesystemtranslatesthereceiveddataintoDICOMIODorencapsulatedPDF(Portable DocumentFormat)teststhatdifferentDICOMsystemscanaccept.Thesystemcan alsotranslateordersforECGsenteredintheDICOMsystemintoaformatcompatible withthecardiograph,eliminatingtheneedtoreenterthepatientdemographics.

Alwaysruntheinstallerfromthesystemapplicationserver,regardlessofwherethe databaseresides.Theinstallerisdesignedtolocateandremotelyinstallthedatabase fromtheapplicationserver.

PrintQueue

IfdeletingdataintheNewlyAcquiredQueue,thepatienttestisdeletedfromthe MUSEsystem.
TheFormatQueueisalistofrequestsfortheFormattertasktoprocess.The Normalizationtaskanduserinterfaceprintrequestsadditemstotheformatqueue.If theformattingissuccessful,thestatusischangedtoDoneandtherequestisnolonger displayed.Arequestismarkedbadifaproblemisencountered.Youcanretrybad requestswiththepropersecurityprivileges.Youalsocandeleterequestsmanually.
ThePrintQueueisalistofallsystemandtemporarydevicesthespoolertasksprocess. Theformattertaskaddsitemstospool.Ifthespoolingissuccessful,thestatusis changedtoDoneandtherequestisnolongerdisplayed.Adeviceismarkedbroken ifaproblemisencountered.Youcanresetbrokendeviceswiththepropersecurity privileges.Youalsocandeleterequestsmanually.
