Thank you for choosing the Genaray SpectroLED SP-LR.
This device’s unique shape provides the user with a stylized
light source, perfect for highlight and accent lighting. The
SP-LR is designed to emit a particularly soft light with
gradual falloff from the sides and a sharper falloff from the
top and bottom.
The 516-LED SP-LR offers two color temperature modes.
The 5600°K daylight mode produces a soft, natural color
tone on subjects, while the 3200°K tungsten mode emits a
warmer color tone. These two modes, combined with the
built-in light diffusion tube, create multiple stylized lighting
settings for various photo and video scenes.
LED lights produce very little heat, so the SP-LR can be
used for extended periods without overheating.
The SP-LR is a versatile lightweight light source that
provides unique accent lighting for various shooting
scenarios.

· Keep this unit away from water and
all flammable gases or liquids.
· Do not attempt to disassemble or
repair equipment—doing so will void
the warranty, and Genaray will not be
responsible for any damage.
· Handle the unit with care.
· Do not stare directly at the lights
when they are powered on.
· Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
· Keep this unit away from children.
· Use only parts provided by the
manufacturer.
· Make sure the item is intact and that
there are no missing parts before use.

POWERING THE
SP-LR
The Genaray SP-LR can be powered two
ways: with the built-in lithium-ion battery,
or with the included AC adapter.
INSTRUCTIONS
Using the Battery:
To use the battery, first ensure that it is fully
charged. Plug the included charger/adapter
into a standard power outlet and the other
end into the AC/DC socket on the back of
the SP-LR. The Charge Status Indicator
light on the SP-LR will display the charging
status.
The light will glow red while charging and
green when the battery is fully charged.

POWERING THE
SP-LR
The battery will last approximately 2.5
hours on a full charge with the light at full
power. To see the remaining battery power,
check the Battery Level Indicator. When all
four LEDs are lit the battery is 100% full,
three LEDs represent 75% remaining, and
so on.
Using the AC Adapter:
To power the light via the included AC
adapter, simply plug the adapter into a
standard power outlet and the other end
into the AC/DC socket on the back of the
SP-LR.
Turning the SP-LR on or off:
To turn the light on or off, simply press the
On/Off button.

MOUNTING THE LIGHT
The SP-LR has a 1/4”-20 mount on
the bottom of the light. To secure the

device, simply position the light over a
compatible mount and turn clockwise
until tight and secure. The device comes
with a 5/8” spigot with male 1/4”-20 and
3/8” threads for use with non 1/4”-20
light stand mounts.
The SP-LR light can also be used
handheld by grasping the base of the
unit.

COLOR TEMPERATURE
MODES
The Genaray SP-LR has two color
temperature modes. The 5600°K daylight
mode produces a soft, natural color tone
on subjects, while the 3200°K tungsten
mode emits a warmer color tone.
To switch between the new modes,
simply press the Mode button.
DIMMING THE LIGHT
The SP-LR has a 100% to 10% dimming
range. To adjust the light output, press and
hold the up or down dimmer buttons until
desired output is reached.

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
This GENARAY product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in
materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from
the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever occurs later.
Genaray’s responsibility with respect to this limited warranty shall be limited solely to repair
or replacement, at Genaray’s discretion, of any product that fails during normal use of this
product in its intended manner and in its intended environment. Inoperability of the product
or part(s) shall be determined by Genaray. If the product has been discontinued, Genaray
reserves the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality and function.
This warranty does not cover damage or defect caused by misuse, neglect, accident,
alteration, abuse, improper installation or maintenance. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN,
GENARAY MAKES NEITHER ANY EXPRESS WARRANTIES NOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. This warranty provides you with specific legal
rights, and you may also have additional rights that vary from state to state.
To obtain warranty coverage, contact the Genaray Customer Service Department to obtain
a return merchandise authorization (“RMA”) number, and return the defective product to
Genaray along with the RMA number and proof of purchase. Shipment of the defective
product is at the purchaser’s own risk and expense.
