Thank you for choosing Gemini Devices
If your mobile phone is lost or stolen, please contact your network
provider or a sales agent immediately.
When you contact your network provider or a sales agent, they will

The IMEI number can also be found on the outer box of your product.
We recommend keeping your phone up to date with the latest

Recommendations
Only the battery and battery charger specified by Gemini should be
used with your phone.
Please do not use your phone near flammable or explosive gases.
Please do not subject your phone to high temperatures, high humidity
or dusty places.
Turn off your mobile phone where the phone is not permitted, such as,
on an airplane or in hospitals. Using the mobile phone in those places may impact the normal operation of electronic devices and medical instruments. Check your alarm clock settings to confirm that your mobile phone will not be turned on automatically during flight.
Avoid having the mobile phone come into contact with water or other
liquids. If liquids enter the phone, this could cause a short circuit, battery leakage or other malfunction.
Do not dispose of old batteries with everyday domestic waste. Please
dispose of old batteries at the directed places with specific rules for their disposal in your country.
Please do not throw batteries into a fire, as this will cause the battery
to catch fire and explode.
When installing the battery, do not use force or pressure, as this may
cause the battery to leak, overheat, crack and catch fire.
Please do not disassemble or modify the battery or phone.
If the battery overheats, changes colour, or becomes distorted during
use, charging, or storage, please stop using it and replace it with a new battery.
If the liquid from the battery comes in contact with skin or clothing
this could cause burning of the skin. Immediately use clear water to rinse and seek medical advice if necessary.
Please do not let the battery become wet as this may cause the
battery to overheat, smoke and corrode.
Please do not use or place batteries in places of high temperature such
as in direct sunlight, as this may cause the battery to leak and overheat, lower performance and shorten the battery’s life.
Please do not continuously charge for more than 24 hours.
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mobile phone, battery and charger.
Please do not use alcohol, thinner, benzene or other solvents to wipe
the mobile phone.

Charging the Battery
Ensure the battery is installed (arrow facing up), fix rear cover and
then connect the charger to the mobile phone.
When the battery level indicator does not flash this indicates the
battery is full and charging has been completed. If the phone is off during charging, the charging complete image also appears on the screen. The charging process often takes 3 to 4 hours. During charging, the battery, phone and charger may get warm, this is normal.
Upon the completion of charging, disconnect the charger from power
supply and from the mobile phone.
Note: During charging, the phone must be placed in well-ventilated
environment of +5 ~ +40.
Inserting and removing the SIM card
Turn off the phone; remove the battery and unplug other external
power supplies. Insert a SIM card into one of the SIM holders as shown in the phone.
When you need to remove a SIM card, turn off the phone, remove the
battery and then remove the SIM card from the holder.
Warning: Turn off your phone before removing the SIM card. Never insert or remove the SIM card when an external power supply is connected.
Set up your phone
The first time you turn on the phone, you’ll see a Welcome screen.
• To choose a different language, touch the menu.
• To continue, touch the icon and follow the instructions.
Unlocking and Powering On and Off
To Power On press the power or home button until the screen lights up. To power off hold down the power button and a menu will appear with this option. To wake the smartphone from sleep or put it back to sleep click the power button once.
Unlocking the Screen
You will need to unlock the screen before using your smartphone. To do this,
Smartphone User Guide v1.0 Page 6
place your finger on the padlock icon and drag towards the edge of the outer circle. If you have setup a PIN or other lock method you will need to enter this instead of swiping.
Locking the Screen
By default the smartphone locks itself automatically after 1 minute if unused. To manually lock the screen, press the power button. The screen will go blank and your device will be locked.
Connecting to the network and internet
When powered on, your phone searches for available mobile networks automatically (the screen will show that network searching is underway). If your phone has found an available network, the name of network service provider appears at the centre of screen and also at the bottom of the lock screen.
Note: Making an emergency call - If “only for emergency calls” appears on the screen, it indicates that you are beyond coverage (service area) for your network, however you can still make emergency calls depending on the signal intensity.
Connecting to the Internet with WiFi
Your smartphone can connect to any router that supports the 802.11b/g/n standard. To connect to your wireless network:
1. Touch Settings, Wireless & Networks then Wi-Fi.
2. Touch the Wi-Fi Off/On toggle.
3. Touch your network name from the list.
4. Input your password.
If you are not sure what your password is it can normally be found on the side/underneath of your router. This is normally case sensitive so please enter it exactly as shown. If you are unsure please call your ISP who should be able to remind you of your password. If you have problems connecting to your Wi-Fi try changing the router security settings to WPA/WPA2.
